snapshot in jpg or gif format

I'd like to see the snapshot feature store the capture as a jpg or gif so that I can use the image file in another program like Word or PowerPoint when I'm doing papers and presentations. Thanks!

    This is something that operating system-specific screen capture utilities do very well; I don't see why Zotero should get into this business. Zotero keeps the attachments in their original format -- you can then do screen captures from PDFs, webpages, whatever you need and paste them into your program of choice. There may even be Firefox add-ons that make screen captures of websites easier-- I don't know.
