how to get edit permissions on wiki?
How does one get edit permissions on the wiki? Why I ask:
I pulled up a journal article which Zotero 2.0.3 (on FF 3.5.9 on Ubuntu 9.10) failed to pull in. So I thought, I'll try creating a translator. After searching a bit, it seemed the best way to begin was to use Crymble's downlevel "How to Write a Zotero Translator" as a guide, but using current tools (e.g. DOM Inspector, XPather, new Scaffold). Along the way, I've noticed at least one other annoyance (
http://niche.uwo.ca/member-projects/zotero-guide/
fails, but
http://niche-canada.org/member-projects/zotero-guide/
) works, so I thought, "why not start a new wiki page to wikify, and thus maintain, an updated version of Crymble, initially recording the deltas required to do the tasks now?" I created a wiki account and logged into
http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/creating_translators_for_sites
which I tried to edit to create a link to a non-existent page. But no love: I get no edit-page button. So I tried just creating a new page, URI=
http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/how_to_write_a_zotero_translator_++
But no love again: I get no create-page button. So I'm wondering, what does one need to do to edit the wiki?

You've seen this page I take it?
http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/writing_documentation
So you already have a separate wiki account. If you're logged in, at the bottom of this page:
http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/creating_translators_for_sites
(for example) you should see:
Logged in as: Tom Roche (TomRoche)
and just below that an "Edit this Page" button.
Where does this fail?

At the top of that page, I see
> Welcome TomRoche | Inbox | Profile | Settings | Logout

I'm pretty sure--how to check? FWIW when I do Zotero>Preferences I get Username=<my email/> which is the email I used for the account I made yesterday with username=TomRoche.
"Creating an Wiki Account" and
"Logging in"
on this page:
http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/writing_documentation
note that wiki account and Zotero account are separate.
What you see on the top of the page means that you're logged into your Zotero account, it's independent of the wiki account.
