Formatting of exported items

When I do a "create bibliography from selected item[s]," copying to the clipboard and pasting from there, the text is double-spaced. Can I change this to single-space? How?

Also, it uses Times New Roman. Can I change that? How?

Thanks,
  • The Font I believe is just your Word Processors default font.
The spacing from copy&paste depends on a combination of word processor defaults and the style in question.
Most Zotero styles are single spaced within entries and double spaced between entries - that can certainly be changed for any given style.
  • I aam having the same problem. Times New Roman is not the default font of any of the word processors/editors that I use. Likewise, items are coming out double-spaced within items.

The immediately preceding response suggests there is a way to change styles. Where and how do we do that.

    Thanks,

In your word processor, I'll bet that Times New Roman, while not the setting for your normal style, is the font for other styles. Check your style settings by placing your cursor within the TNR text. Identify the style. Modify the style to display the typeface you want.
  • TNR does not come up in the Zotero code. If any text is inserted in Word using TNR, that's determined - somehow - by Word.

Changing Zotero styles (which would affect spacing only!) cane be done using the entry-spacing and the line-spacing options in the csl style:
