  3. Annotations of Book Sections no longer displaying correct pagination?

natively because it's from an ebook from ProQuest so I can't just look at the book. When I used the new "Add Note from Annotation" command, the output for the page number was the page number of the e
  4. Adding a PhD

    by bwiernik · August 1, 2022
If you mean importing a thesis, if you can find a place where it’s hosted online, such as a university repository or ProQuest or Thesis Commons, Zotero can import metadata from there.
  5. Library database search results not matching Zotero upload

    by rlowens · July 16, 2022
Hi, I'm accessing ERIC through Proquest. I download the RIS file from ERIC (through Proquest), open it with Zotero, and on the right side of Zotero it says there are 2,177 citations.
  6. Library database search results not matching Zotero upload

    by adamsmith · July 15, 2022
How are you accessing ERIC? Through Proquest, EBSCO, or directly on ERIC?
  7. Remove Safari Connector?

    by OldSlippers · July 11, 2022
Proquest, for example, lets you download (chapters of) books but via the connector you only get a snapshot from the site into Zotero. Fair enough, the metadata is much more extensie this way. When I d
  8. Find Available PDFs power use case; obstacles and ways forward?

    by stanrhodes · July 7, 2022
I'm guessing y'all won't be shocked to hear this, but I've gotten the hanging issue again. And it's not proquest. This will be a bug thread afterall. Here's the ID: D120808672
  9. Find Available PDFs power use case; obstacles and ways forward?

    by stanrhodes · July 7, 2022
About a year ago I asked a similar question on the developer list, so I've been preparing to do this for a while. I'm finally getting back to this piece of the chain. The proquest issue really did jus
  10. Find Available PDFs power use case; obstacles and ways forward?

    by adamsmith · July 7, 2022
It's indeed that broken ProQuest import freezes the find PDF function, but that would likely be a bug, too: translators will fail occasionally, and the tool should handle that "gracefully," i.e. by tr
  11. Find Available PDFs power use case; obstacles and ways forward?

    by stanrhodes · July 7, 2022
Related to the temporary hanging issue, I just saw there was another thread yesterday mentioning proquest having issues. Good to know it wasn't just me. Re: dstillman's request, there's no way I could
  12. Find Available PDFs power use case; obstacles and ways forward?

    by stanrhodes · July 6, 2022
I should have left an example URL from the item's entry. But as I mentioned, they're now working. It must have been a proquest issue, and Zotero wasn't able to move on, so to speak. https://search.pro
  13. Find Available PDFs power use case; obstacles and ways forward?

    by stanrhodes · July 6, 2022
But as to the hanging. It lasts 25+ minutes for a single entry. The trouble seems to be items with proquest URLs. (I wish I could sort by URL but I can't list it as a column.) But the trouble doesn't
  14. Proquest connector issue

    by laurabonella · July 6, 2022
It's not just ERIC, it seems to be all of the Proquest databases (tried PsycInfo and the multi-database search and got the same error)
  15. Proquest connector issue

    by adamsmith · July 5, 2022
Seems to be a general issue on ProQuest ERIC
  16. Proquest connector issue

    by laurabonella · July 5, 2022
When trying to download from Proquest (ERIC), I get the message "An error occurred while saving this item. See Troubleshooting Translator Issues for more information." I have done all the steps in tro
  17. Zotero not scraping Proquest properly

    by frednwright · June 19, 2022
Thanks very much for the reply! I'm glad you are seeing the same error. Yes, it seems that proquest changed something recently with regards to EEBO.
  18. Zotero not scraping Proquest properly

    by adamsmith · June 18, 2022
Sorry for the delay. I'm able to replicate this, but it's not a simple issue. The EEBO display on Proquest is different in some significant ways from other Proquest pages so Zotero doesn't work proper
  19. Incomplete metadata from Zotero connector (Proquest)

    by adamsmith · June 17, 2022
That's ProQuest -- I'd hope they can do something about that.
  20. Incomplete metadata from Zotero connector (Proquest)

    by jfraiv · June 16, 2022
I use the Zotero connector quite frequently, usually without issue. However, when I access New York Times articles from Proquest (web.p.ebscohost.com) and add it to my Zotero library with the connecto
