That's not actually the same—the markup is different. The one with the is what you might get straight from ZotFile, and that won't display properly in the report until you edit it in the Zotero no

I selected a single document to test. I have annotated the pdf and extracted annotations via Zotfile.

Most of my notes are annotations imported via Zotfile. I went in and made a few changes in one in Zotero, but it didn't seem to make any difference - my report is still full of html code and pretty mu

The other option is to use Zotfile's "send to tablet" function.

Also, are you aware of a simple workflow protocol for using zotfile with dropbox and an ipad or other tablet? I saw you warned someone else about pointing directly to dropbox?
  14. Moving pdf in the library to parent

    by adamsmith · January 12, 2013
I use Zotfile for that: Download the PDF (not adding it to Zotero) into your download folder, then in Zotero with ZotFile installed, select the parent item and do "Attach New File"

I'll try a workflow with doing a two way sync with ZotFile. Seems like it will get the job done.

adamsmith elaborated: What eawtrey wants to do is to save _all_ attachments as links using Zotfile. That does indeed require dropbox to be in the exact same location on all computers (and I wouldn't r
