I have been having this issue with Zotero crashing word, whenever I try to insert a new reference, hit Refresh, then it crashes and need to quit zotero to unblock it.

Unsupported software versions might work, but there's just no way Zotero can check on issues with an unlimited number of old software versions, I'm afraid, especially as Word has changed a fair amount
