Zotero doesn't have a dark mode. If it's dark on Linux, it's because you're using a dark OS theme, and Zotero inherits that.

I installed Zotero on Linux and the theme seems to be dark. Is there a way to run it in light mode? I work in a bright office so I would prefer a white background.

I'm going beyond my level of experience here but the only difference between your and my system seems to be that you are using a dark mode. And I'm using an iPad. Might that be related to this problem
