  3. RTF Scan numbering incorrect

    by fbennett · April 18, 2013
Well, that was quick. Simon has reviewed and merged the change, so the ACM SIGCHI Proceedings style should work well with RTF Scan from the next Zotero release.
  4. RTF Scan numbering incorrect

I am using the ACM SIGCHI reference format. What could I be doing wrong? Is this a bug or is there a setting I don't know about?

I've used the "Visual Editor CSL" and modify from the "ACM SIG Proceedings style", thank you very much for your help
  7. [solved] SpringerLink translator broken (Report ID: 2119847806)

    by kynan · October 7, 2012
I had suspected it could be the HTTPS Everywhere add-on since that had caused issues with ACM earlier, but disabling that doesn't fix the issue.

I am running into the same problem as the original poster with the Firefox Zotero plugin (3.0.8). I tried ACM, JSTOR and springerlink.

Here's the relevant debug output: zotero(4)(+0006848): Translate: Parsing code for ACM Digital Library
  12. ACM Digital Library translator fails when HTTPS Everywhere is enabled

I'll report to ACM and HTTPS Everywhere. Presumably they'll also want some debug information.
  13. ACM Digital Library translator fails when HTTPS Everywhere is enabled

    by adamsmith · July 24, 2012
but the error log seems to indicate that it is indeed the site that's not working well with https everywhere. Since Zotero's translator makes additional http(s) requests it could well be that somethin

  15. ACM Digital Library translator fails when HTTPS Everywhere is enabled

    by adamsmith · July 24, 2012
I doubt we can do much about this. The translator is very clean code, there aren't any hardcoded http or so in there, so if it doesn't work with https everywhere that most likely means the acm site do
  16. ACM Digital Library translator fails when HTTPS Everywhere is enabled

    by kynan · July 24, 2012
Saving from the ACM Digital Library reliably fails when the Firefox Add-On HTTPS Everywhere is enabled. There are no error messages reported to the console, which is why I did not submit an error repo

My only comment on your second point is that this is for all proxied URL via my University, not just ACM (which was just an example). They do all take the same format, however, of fully replacing the
  19. Store "real" URL when using proxy

    1. ACM put proxied URL in the bibtex data they export - which they really shouldn't - and

where "ezproxy.XXX.ac.uk:9999" is the proxied replacement (in this case) for "dl.acm.org".
