  2. Is there a way of stopping the sharing of all imported files and file links to groups?

    by DWL-SDCA · May 1, 2012
Clearly there are files that have been shared to the web that should not have been -- illegal sharing of music or movies, etc. It is rare but I have seen books online that have been posted to the web

  4. "Save to Zotero" and Automated import from Finder

    by adamsmith · March 2, 2012
It's really up to you - I don't think watching folders for PDF and automatically importing them is something that will be introduced anytime soon by Zotero. I don't think it would be terribly hard to

For example, if I purchase sheet music in pdf form, can I upload it to my Zotero server legally if the only people accessing it are authorized to do so?
  8. Changes to fields and item types for Zotero 5.1

    by adamsmith · January 20, 2012
we'll definitely do something about music scores. I'm still not sure how best to do it - just adding an item type with a lot of new fields has its downsides - but we'll try to improve this as much as
  9. Changes to fields and item types for Zotero 5.1

    by asallen · January 20, 2012
I've posted here before on this issue -- the need for a "musical score" item type -- but I've come across what I think is an excellent example of why we need it. Not least are the facts that WorldCat
  10. "Clean" and fill references before creating bibliography?

    by adamsmith · January 17, 2012
If that's your standard, stop using a reference manager. There is no product that comes close to that and I would be surprised if there will be in the next couple of years. It's part of our job as res

  12. Composer as primary author

    by adamsmith · October 18, 2011
I'm confused by what you're saying - it seems your contradicting yourself. If citations for both classical and other music usually omit the composer, why should it be the primary creator type?
  13. Doc doesn't recognize that FNs are Zotero

    by saratexas · September 25, 2011
When I hit Opt+F9, I don't get any codes showing; it just changes the track on the music that's playing (which is the function of the button.)

  16. Translator request: IMSLP.org

    by ajlyon · August 1, 2011
Can you bump this if and when the music score type comes through? I'm not sure how strong the metadata is on scores at IMSLP, but it'd certainly be great to support it.
