Have you read http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data ?

The issue with capitalizing last names is probably more CSL than Zotero - it treats authors' names as one single argument, so only one formatting command (such as font-style="italic" or text-case="uppercase") can be applied. i don't think this will …

There is a new PMC translator waiting to be released that should fix this: https://www.zotero.org/trac/ticket/1580

Yeah, Babelzilla is a bit of a labyrinth, and the strings haven't been updated since Zotero 1.0.4. Your best bet is to contact the person currently listed as the (main) translator for Norwegian: http://www.babelzilla.org/forum/index.php?showuser=121…

I see the use of this, but wouldn't it be handier to implement a right-click menu for date fields similar to the "Transform Text"-menu for the title field? It could just contain a single option, e.g. "Use current date/timestamp".

Works fine for me, so I don't know what causing your problem.

Can you provide an URL that doesn't work? Also, are you running Zotero 1.0.10, or 2.0 Beta?

This patch should do the trick: http://zotero-dev.googlegroups.com/web/GoogleBooksPatch.patch

List view seems broken: http://books.google.com/books?q=robot&as_brr=3 I'll try to investigate later today.

Also from the back of the room: developing a Zotero CWYW plugin for AbiWord/AbiCollab would probably greatly benefit from metadata embedding inside the .abw-documents*. With this, references introduced by the Zotero plugin would not be linked to a p…

It would seem strange to author my documents if I was using something like markdown without a separating whitespace character. For those parsers that work with plain text (Pandoc/citeproc-hs, RTF-scan), it might make sense to remove any leading spac…

So is there consensus that: - CSL already can handle this (the leading space can just be added as a prefix to the layout element in cs:citation) - all CSL styles written for styles that use leading spaces should eventually contain these leading …

Yes, backspace can be used as a navigation key, but on OS X, Backspace is nevertheless equivalent to Delete in Places (the Firefox bookmark manager), which is analogous to the Zotero items list. An important difference between item lists in Zotero a…

You might want to take a look at the Google Books and NCBI Pubmed translators. Both extract the bibliographic information from the XML that can be requested at the respective sites.
-
For the development team: could you elaborate a bit on how requests of this kind (adding fields to item types) are being handled? Will the fields for all item types be revised when you switch over to the BIBO model? Or are these requests just put on…

I still think a better way would be to have an option to use the current style of the paragraph where the bibliography is to be inserted. +1. I think it would make sense to do this by default.

What's exactly the problem with 2)? Do you wish to remove the spacing between lines? If so, maybe adding this line will help:

For styles that use abbreviated journal names, Zotero uses the content of the "Journal Abbr"-field. The content of the "Publication"-field is only used if the abbreviation field is empty. See also: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/5104/modifying…

Try removing the spaces in the file name (e.g. use "british-journal-of-sociology.csl").
