FWIW, the current icons are from the following collection: http://www.famfamfam.com/lab/icons/silk/previews/index_abc.png

If you're using either the Word or OpenOffice word processor plugin, there should be a "Zotero Insert Bibliography"-button to insert the bibliography. Have you tried that?

Apparently Amazon removed the ability to get XML info on Kindle books: http://developer.amazonwebservices.com/connect/message.jspa?messageID=145021

FWIW, the updated translator does work for me for the link above. Are you sure you overwrote the original "Google Books.js" translator file, and that you restarted Firefox after replacing the translator?
-
You'll have to manually replace the Endnote citations with Zotero citations. Zotero cannot interpret Endnote citations, and there isn't (yet) a way to automate the replacement.

I have committed the required changes to the csl-utils repository: http://bitbucket.org/bdarcus/csl-utils/changeset/7bda7dee1871/

This will be possible when Zotero switches to CSL 1.0: http://citationstyles.org/downloads/upgrade-notes.html#default-locale

Just a quick update: I'm quite close to completing modifications to the XSLT 1.0 stylesheet so that it can convert CSL styles to cope with the elimination of fallback behavior. It'll take me a few more days to finish, but from the looks of it it sho…

@fbennett: Awesome! Thanks for waking Scaffold from hibernation. I guess it all came down to the right finishing touch.

Can't you just duplicate the affected items on the computer with the correct date and delete the old copy? In a quick test, the only problem seems to be that attachments have to be copied over manually.

Did you try disabling any Firefox extensions and themes?

This seems somewhat related to http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/11498/accented-characters-not-captured-correctly/?Focus=55467#Comment_55467 Are these sort orders and case associations strongly language-specific, or would an language-agnostic cha…

Rintze was looking into it at one point, but I'm not sure if anything came of that Not much, I'm afraid. My stranded attempt: http://bitbucket.org/rmzelle/scaffold/

could you also discuss this point ("blogPost" and "forumPost" mapping to "post-weblog" and "post" instead of "webpage", respectively)? That's a question only the Zotero developers can answer. If fallback behavior is eliminated, updating update.xsl s…

My suggestion: contribute towards improving the upgrade XSL stylesheet my short-to-long-term gaols are twofold: first, to improve the update XSL so conversion is fully automatic If fallback behavior is eliminated, updating update.xsl should be fairl…

My previous example of the requirement to distinguish between a web page (title in italics) and blog post (title in quotes) is a use case that is not supported at the moment. CSL 0.8 and 1.0 (types haven't changed between the two releases) both offe…

I put the information of fallback behavior as defined in the Zotero source code in a slightly different format, which should be better suited for human consumption: http://docs.google.com/View?id=dg6h9k72_64hzmsmqgb @erazlogo on the XSLT stylesheet…

@Rintze - What about the "article" type redundancy in CSL 1.0? If you remove the fallback feature, the "article" type should become invalid. I think you're right: if fallback behavior is scrapped, "article" can be scrapped as well ("article" is only…

Ah, yes, I should have taken into account the Zotero item to CSL item type mapping (https://www.zotero.org/trac/browser/extension/trunk/chrome/content/zotero/xpcom/csl.js?rev=5788#L1962), so the correct example should probably be:

which I'm assuming is in the current Zotero 2.0 engine I should have made this clear earlier, but this is not the case. CSL 1.0 support is scheduled for Zotero 2.1.

AFAIK, the only way to do this with only one CSL is to switch the default FF language when I want to switch biblio languages. As explained in the link I gave above, changing the value of the extensions.zotero.export.bibliographyLocale preference onl…

Dan Stillman: This is actually currently only the case for the default styles Whoops. Sorry for spreading misinformation. I guess I should use Zotero more often :). brazuca: if I'm writing an article in English, how would I tell Zotero to format the…

It is probably possible to cover this with the upgrade XSLT stylesheet. If I understand things correctly, the only case where fallback behavior currently takes effect is in conditionals. Every fallback-type (e.g. "book") in type-conditionals (e.g. )…

http://www.zotero.org/styles/null-EN The value of the href attribute of the link element indicates where the style can be found online. The link element (carrying a correct URL) is required for automatic updating of styles (i.e. if a change is made…
