CSL doesn't have a "rights" variable, which explains why it isn't mapped. As for the "Photo:" bit, maybe we could abuse "publisher"? The photo is a representation of the painting, so you're actually describing a hierarchical relation.

I have one more question about editorial-director/"directeur de publication": is it sufficient to add "Editorial Director" to the book and chapter item types, or are there other item types that can be expected to need this creator role?

In that case, the "screenshots" are actually links. You should be able to select these with "File Attachment Type" "is" "Web Page".
