Because it doesn't make much sense to save items that are already in your own library?

Committed: https://github.com/citation-style-language/locales/commit/df4e7519c0eb1abb9bdf24ae8217792b09cb0790 So you would like to have two new locator types, "tome" and "verset"?
-
There is no need to upgrade if the style does what you want.
-
@fbennett: you already have this code running in citeproc-js for year-suffixes, right?
-
Yeah, this is a problem in the automatic style upgrading. In CSL 0.8.1, terms in the locale files were defined without periods. For CSL 1.0, we switched to defining terms with periods (because it's easier to strip periods than it is to add them). …

http://citationstyles.org/downloads/specification.html#name The trick is to remove the "and" attribute from the cs:name element.

This should make it into future versions of Zotero: https://github.com/citation-style-language/locales/commit/34ca85f8c2d890f90ee8c8e421669e5ee843aded

Type-based sectioning would also be very nice for generating CVs. While adamsmith's workaround is pretty neat, I guess it would be helpful if you could also define section headers. E.g. (not claiming this is a good idea), we could add a cs:sections…

Errors are never acceptable :). The problems with your validation link are: - if you use "Address" instead of "Text Field" to provide the style, you should check "Be lax about HTTP Content-Type" - the "http://www.zotero.org/styles/chicago-note-bib…

But in this case (pun intended), Zotero's RIS importer can easily be modified to rely on a case-insensitive match, right?

@adamsmith: a neat feature of http://validator.nu is that, when you use URLs for both the XML to be validated and the schema, it provides you with a linkable URL. In this case: http://validator.nu/?doc=https://gist.github.com/raw/953138/fb582127d94…

A "long-ish description string" sounds a lot like a bibliographic reference to me ;) I guess Zotero could use citeproc-js to generate those :).

Just a quick Google search.

http://nirc.nanzan-u.ac.jp/publications/jjrs/pdf/395.pdf I just happened to have this PDF in my library. It's one of my favorites :)

Hmm, maybe it's indeed not that easy: http://fixunix.com/mozilla/407955-textbox-autocomplete-popup-list-width.html and https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=416250

(@adamsmith: for the CSL 1.0 version of this style, we could set the default-locale to en-US)

Seems like an easy fix in XUL: https://developer.mozilla.org/en/XUL/Attribute/sizetopopup

Your are essentially suggesting I am being obstinate No, he's not. And adamsmith's suggestion was helpful in that it suggested a way to get rid of the error when adding a PDF (which would be fine if you didn't really need the retrieve PDF metadata f…

@adamsmith: it should be possible to test multiple conditions on a single cs:if element. Also, your nested example contains some errors (you'd need to nest both cs:choose and cs:if, and the third tag should be an end-tag).

@l2lafitte: do I understand correctly that you are just trying to suppress the "sub verbo" label? An alternative way to do that is to redefine the "sub verbo" terms as empty strings, e.g. (in CSL 1.0): …

I updated the CSL 1.0 style for ASM journals. It should now sort name particles correctly. I also set the default locale to US English (ASM being American). This style is available at https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/raw/master/asm-…

Should the Locate/arrow button be at the top of the middle or of the right Zotero column? Under Windows, the alignment is confusing: http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/2135/lookupv.png (the New Item button is also placed above a column divider: htt…
