Just install Zotero 3.0 from the Zotero.org home page. That will replace 2.1.10.

Done, thanks! https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/commit/082d3f2aeb1ed9e30d8cc20ae518ad6da5e1383a

Maybe having a link to "Using Zotero on Mobile Devices" on the quick start page? Going a bit broader: one of the main things I think could be improved in the Zotero documentation is to make it really obvious to users what components exist in the Zot…

CMoS doesn't seem to use a page locator label ("p. ") before the page number: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/717/03/

Which style are you using?

Zotero 2.1.10 won't be updated to support Firefox 10, so yes, you'll have to update to Zotero 3.0.1: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/21625/how-i-must-add-the-new-zotero-30/?Focus=114497#Comment_114497 See http://www.zotero.org/support/3.0#upgra…

I think we should find a way to give more exposure to third-party software like Zandy, ZotPad and the like (especially the higher quality and open source ones). They're not plugins, and are rather hard to find in the current documentation.

What is the status of https://www.transifex.net/projects/p/zotero/ ? Is it operational? Can we update the documentation to point people who want to translate there?
-
How about our jargon? Should we always use "Zotero for Firefox" for the Firefox add-on and "Zotero Standalone" for the standalone client? Can we use "LibreOffice" to refer to the LibreOffice/OpenOffice.org/NeoOffice software?

Why does the Document type lack a Place field when it has a Publisher field? Other people have asked the same question: https://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/issues/18 It's on the to-do list.

This might be of some interest (especially the top answer, which suggests that using U+2009 and some CSS is more robust for HTML output): http://stackoverflow.com/questions/595365/how-to-render-narrow-non-breaking-spaces-in-html-for-windows

"Bluebook 19th" seems to be available again in the repo Dan, is this intended? The style http://www.zotero.org/styles/bluebook-19th is absent from the CSL repo.

@Simon, would it be possible to store the extension outside the user profile by using a path file as described at https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Building_an_Extension#Test ?

Yes, I've recently renamed a bunch of styles, replacing many acronyms by the full name (aaa.csl has become american-anthropological-association.csl). @adamsmith, Dan's suggestion for MHRA w/o bib (now mhra-note-without-bibliography.csl) is fine with…

I thought this used to work.

It's a known limitation. As far as I know, checking whether all called macros exist cannot be verified with regular RELAX NG schema. The embedded Schematron rules in the CSL schema that check for this are ignored by Jing, which is the validator used…

Did you: "In the "Parser" drop-down menu, select the "XML; don't load external entities" option. Also check the "Be lax about HTTP Content-Type" check-box." ?

Close. You have to set the demote-non-dropping-particle attribute on the cs:style root element of the style, not the individual cs:name elements. The reason is that we assumed that this setting will never vary within a style, so it's a global option…

There was an EspaceNet translator, but it has been broken for a while. Metadata quality on that site might be relatively high, though, so it might be worth looking into reviving the translator.

Can you try installing https://raw.github.com/gist/1578602/5b14c8e19d3b86eca6d44da703fa303c9e7efe50/mammal-review.csl ? It's the style linked to by bioshaena a few posts earlier in this thread, upgraded to CSL 1.0. If it works okay for you we can a…
