Eigentlich hätte ich gerne die ganze Notiz im Text und dazu in einer Fußnote die Daten des zugehörigen Buches. You cannot add the content of a zotero note without copy/paste it first. (note: my skills in German are rather rusty, someone has to confir…

In the macro "author in citation", between l.47-48, add <et-al font-style="italic"/> as in: (http://citationstyles.org/downloads/specification.html#et-al)

I don't understand your first issue. But: At the same time the font size and paragraph layout of the text gets changed. See: http://www.zotero.org/support/kb/word_default_font

No, it's not possible. The order is chronological (first related item added is at top).

On which website? http://www.zotero.org/support/getting_stuff_into_your_library#web_translators : Whether or not Zotero can recognize bibliographic information on a web page depends on the web page. Some websites use a standard way to provide Zotero…

Collections are not folders: http://www.zotero.org/support/collections You should be able to select items from a collection and drag-and-drop them to the other collection.

Thanks Dan! I'll try to follow these guidelines. Not sure that it's in my skills yet.

These suggestions are a good starting point! As a lawyer, I need to have different icons for legal items. I like Famfamfam Silk icons but this seems difficult to find adequate icon for certain types of items. Is it possible to use other icons than …

I had not seen Jean's suggestion but, indeed, with batch editing, it's a better one.

That's a pity to wait a major release to implement some features. I don't speak for this patch (multiple authors by copy pasting) in particular (since I think it doesn't seem to be a trivial change) but for others. If the devs can elaborate a bit mo…

Did you use zotero for firefox before using standalone?

The word processor, and not Zotero, controls the style and format of footnotes and endnotes. You've to change the style in word. Tutorial: http://mac2.microsoft.com/help/office/14/en-us/word/item/d8bf3404-abe2-45c2-b7b9-5a325ff4c50c Zotero Documenta…

About 2) "allow deleting of tags from multiple items". Dan wrote that the issue could be reopened "once there's an agreed-upon solution in the forums". Proposal: -At the moment, the tag selector allows tags to be globally renamed and deleted (righ…

I think adamsmith wanted to write "report ID": http://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_bugs You need to click the "Next" button in the “Report Errors…” menu to get the report ID (the ID is displayed in red).

Don't double post: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/23139/change-in-style/

adamsmith, who wrote the Angew. Chem. style, will have to comment on this. But does Angew. Chem. require this (i.e. endnotes)? Can you provide a link to online documentation? You can try to do it yourself: http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation…

@zopehr: Search for "Angewandte Chemie" on : http://www.zotero.org/styles . Then click "Install". (and start a new thread for new questions please) Edit: I might have misread your comment. If you'd like to change the "Angewandte Chemie" style, read…

Sorry my mistake indeed, I had not access to zotero when I wrote.

[Related: When you add a child note to an item, the quick search is cleared. Would be more logical to keep it (since you add a note to an item which necessarily matched the quick search).]

C'est bien ce que je pensais!

Upgrade to Libre Office ;-) You can read French, can't you? Tutorial (probably outdated): http://www.generationcyb.net/Comment-creer-un-index-lexical,1572

@jean: You should search through the forum first: 1)"Make tags hierarchical and make them power Collections": it has been discussed in the past, search for "hierarchical tags": http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/79/ (Edit: And: http://forums.zoter…

How about removing a tag from multiple items (not all items)? Not possible as far as I know. Collections are not folders. They're close to tags indeed: documentation. Groups: http://www.zotero.org/support/groups#interact_with_groups_through_the_zo…

Allow sorting by URL? Using a saved search is a better solution (through the magnifying glass icon, then choose URL contains etc). More sorting options in the middle pane will be added to the next (major?) release (I think 3.5, maybe before) I can o…

No, it's not. Your word processor (MS-Word, LibreOffice) can do that. Raised here: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/23102/from-word-is-it-possible-to-insert-a-table-of-authorities-based-on-zoteros-citation-fields/
-
@cadudesun: AFAIK it's something (aka index) that you can do with your word processor. Edit: oops, missed Frank's message.
-
@adamsmith:and I don't think you can open them simultaneously. You can (with "-no-remote") but there are important downsides (e.g. word processor plugin won't be usable, etc.). Definitely not a good solution here, I think, beyond testing purposes.
