This has been requested before: it would be a nice feature but, as far as I understand, pretty complex to implement. Renaming them seems to me an acceptable workaround. http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/33/ http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/694…

More details are needed. Cf. https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/wiki/Requesting-Styles
-
You can upload the screenshot(s) to a free file-sharing site like imgur.com and post the link(s) here.
-
(But if this happens when data is (automatically) imported by translators, please report it. The faulty translator should be fixed.)
-
This is a frequent request. This will be added in the future (maybe zotero 3.5). Cf. https://github.com/zotero/zotero/issues/39

Just to be clear, there's no "portable zotero" as far as I know. What you called "portable zotero" is either: -The Zotero for Firefox add-on installed in Portable Firefox (which is installed on a thumb drive) or -Zotero standalone installed on a thu…
-
You can install the Zotero for Firefox add-on in "Portable Firefox". http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable This should work well. I think that you can install Standalone on a USB too. Don't know for the connectors...

Search for "Council of Science Editors (CSE)" or "CSE": there are two styles in the repo.

Dan: I'm not sure how widely used they are. Just some thoughts for the future, from my experience. I don't use them so much. But when I add a note of this kind, it's to be sure to remember something about the attachment when I'll open it. The fact t…

In reports, they are not maintained, even with tags.
-
I'm a bit confused by your question. You would like to get the abstract field in a report generated by zotero? That should be the case. You'd like to to get the abstract field in a citation generated by zotero? You might have to modify the style you…

I agree. They're real notes seemingly (indexed for search, etc.)but their existence is precarious. There's no special warning message when you delete the pdf. And maybe, the pdf icon could change (in overlaying a small yellow spot). Ideally, they s…
-
Is this also a note? Yes. The centre pane gives no indication if a pdf has rich text info or not, which actually makes me nervous about using it so much (to make notes on the associated pdf). That's reasonable, I don't use these "integrated" notes so…

I think it will be added to the next major release (3.5, around November 20) or, perhaps, before (next minor release, if there's one).
-
They are localized. But if you find some unlocalized strings, report them here.
-
Using "first-reference-note-number" is better in some cases (it addresses the main criticism against "op. cit"). But, for the styles which are in the repo, op. cit. is used with position="subsequent".
-
Cross-posting obviously. I think the reason that we don't have an op cit term is that Bruce hates it. A lot. :-). Sure... I remember that it was one of the first post I read on this forum! How exactly? Using the "position" conditional? I've always …

ATM "cited" is used in 105 styles. In most cases, it seems to be an alternative to "accessed". But in a few cases (10 French, 1 German and 1 Italian styles), it is redefined as "op. cit.": annales.csl geneses.csl histoire-at-politique.csl histoire-…
-
@Rintze: A style like this one requires brackets: [et al.]. Since it seems to be a general requirement, the term has been redefined in cs:locale. Affixes are not necessary. I can't imagine a style where the brackets would only be required in certain…

I want each item in bibliography be localized according to its language, so I a book is Persian it bibliography be styled RTL and english books remain LTR You need Multilingual Zotero (MLZ). Details here: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/21316/d…

Read this: http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/localization (and especially this: http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/localization#csl_styles)

I wasn't clear: do they have the same function? I am using "op. cit." but with ; I wonder whether it should be added as the correct translation of "cited".
-
They're within the extension: Your_Firefox_Profile\extensions\zotero@chnm.gmu.edu\zotero.jar But what are you trying to do? You don't have to modify these files to create a style.
-
Yes.
-
@Rintze"cited" --> I'm not sure if this is ever used, and I'm not sure why you'd use it Some (french) styles uses it for "op. cit.", is it correct?
-
Use tags and saved search http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/22578/an-option-to-mark-as-read-or-unread-a-reference/ and also http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/1787/simple-marking-of-items/

@Matthew Dodd: no, the patch has been added to the trunk (zotero dev branch). It should be in the next major release (3.5) I think.
-
http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step Around lines 53-54, you've to add this:et al. just after Hrsg. and before . (The other terms will stay in German.)
