Dan: I discovered today, completely by accident, that when you enter three digits (only from 100 to 499) in the date field, "AD" is appended, e.g. "100AD".

I was wrong: the URL is displayed when there's no DOI. But there's no example citation in the visual editor where it's the case. Anyway, in the left pane, you've to edit the macro "access-note" (then "conditional"/"else" and remove this "else")
-
With this example: Isabela Mares, ‘Firms and the Welfare State: When, Why, and How Does Social Policy Matter to Employers?’, in Varieties of Capitalism. The Institutional Foundations of Comparative Advantage, ed. by Peter A Hall and David Soskice (N…

But anyway, I'm not sure why the csl-processor does not distinguish “ and '

The issue is with the apostrophe: compare "C'est" (straight apostrophe) and "l’habitude" (curly apostrophe). Replace "C'est" by "C’est" in the title field.

There's a "Conference Paper" type but you want to cite the conference proceedings as a whole? Item types used at the moment: http://aurimasv.github.com/z2csl/typeMap.xml Revision of types: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/15636/1/changes-to-fiel…

@AhrenLester: I helped recently someone who wanted to edit the MHRA style. The discussion is here. It might help you to understand how the visual editor works even if it's not a real guide...

Not supported means that you're on your own if there's an issue (due, for example, to a Firefox update which would break the functionality). But the problem is mainly that it doesn't (and has never) sync. You should find a third-party tool which emb…

Yes. That's related. What adamsmith said in the other thread:I can confirm that has changed, but it was done on purpose: Since PubMed is a catalog of articles and doesn't actually store any articles, the URL and accessed date shouldn't be part of th…

http://www.lemonde.fr/ http://www.liberation.fr http://www.lefigaro.fr (but their embedded metadata are of very poor quality)

(or maybe it doesn't ever?) Is it a question? I know at least one website on which it works. Is there a list of differences between them, somewhere? No. This would be an impossible task since the translators are updated all the time (new ones, chang…

This works with Zotero for Firefox (both sites) [and with the bookmarklet] but fails with the connector (at least with Chrome). You'll have to wait for someone else to fix the "Embedded Metadata" translator. Thanks for reporting this.

What adamsmith said but with notepad++, you can just add ".csl" to the name of your style in the "save as" window (this works for me). (.csl, no .cls)
-
This problem occurs when a .csl isn't saved as utf-8. Which software do you use?
-
(however "790", i.e. three digits, is parsed but AD is not appended by the proc)
-
Does the "AD" part work? No. e.g. "79" is not parsed by zotero.
-
I think the answer is here: https://www.zotero.org/trac/ticket/900 Now here: https://github.com/zotero/zotero/blob/master/chrome/content/zotero/xpcom/date.js#L467 Right?
-
Not at the moment. But a patch has been accepted and it will be possible in the next major release (3.5).

Provide a URL. http://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues (Better to start a new thread as it's not directly related to the original issue)

I am wondering whether there are any plans / thoughts / hopes to resolve the BC / AD date dilemma (I have seen the other discussions). Progress have been made but nothing is implemented in Zotero: these dates are not recognized (parsed) at the mome…

See my updated post above. Also, your style does not validate, l. 20, it should be: et al.
