Does that help: http://www.zotero.org/support/kb/word_default_font ? As an aside: would it be simpler that the style directly gives you "Binzer et al. (19997) and Feinstein et al. (2001)"?

Frank Bennett (fbennett) is working on RTF scan: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/18064/2/please-add-better-integration-with-scrivener/#Comment_135285 I'm not sure if this will address your issue but your help is welcome, I think.

Under language, I select French in order to ensure that the name in the bibliography is maintained as "Henri de Saint-Simon" instead of "Henri De Saint-Simon."I don't think the language field changes anything here. Rintze is suggesting a change (in…

Right column, under "Purchase Storage": https://www.zotero.org/settings/storage Can you see it?

How would you implement it in the UI? A (michaelhiller's post above)?

Did you search here: http://zotero.org/styles This tool can help you too: http://steveridout.com/csl/searchByExample/ Additionally, I need to add sometimes something like "cf." in front of the author in the footnote.http://www.zotero.org/support/w…

simply changing the Letter author field (in Zotero itself) to single rather than two fields. Others have to confirm but I'm not sure it's a good idea/practice. Is it not possible to handle this case with csl?

the entire applications data folder What do you mean exactly? Read this: http://www.zotero.org/support/kb/transferring_a_library (and http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data )

I found the problem. Zotero does not work with Safari. No, no. Zotero Standalone works with Zotero Connector for Safari. You haven't really solved your problem even if you've found another solution.

nicolas: have you read my post?

reod: we need more details (which zotero/LO versions etc...= See: http://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_bugs

Do you mean ? With that, you get "AND"/"UND" in small caps too.
-
See: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/22021/abbreviations-for-authorseditors-after-second-use/ In an nutshell, that's possible with MLZ and the abbreviation filter (both written by fbennett). To start, it would be helpful if there was an abbrevia…

@dhummel: Everyone agrees this would be a good improvement. But one has to code it! Zotero has limited resources and the developers are focused on high-priority features.
-
That's already possible: "Institution" is actually "Publisher" (I agree that's not obvious, though).
-
nicolas: at the moment, with your style Compare your macros "author" and "author-short", the answer is there... The "author" macro is used for the bibliography. It uses font-variant="small-caps" as an attribute for the cs:name element. As a consequ…

Does it work with other PDFs?

Don't you see this: http://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage_classic#using_multiple_sources_in_a_citation ?
-
I assume it's not possible to treat it as a book section?
-
No, I was not sure at all. And if it doesn'' work either when you switch, that's clearly not the issue. Did you put a locator (i.e. page number, etc)? "Citation is:" "first"? Which zotero (standalone or firefox, version)?
-
Provide example URLs.

Your style is probably not valid: http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step#validation
