There's a Dynix translator which works for some library catalog, e.g.: http://www.etud.uco.fr/portaildoc/catalogue But not with others, depending on the OPAC version. (For the record: list of (french) SirsiDynix catalogs)

There's no periodical item type in Zotero at the moment. It is planned, though. I think that's the main reason.

4.0 has just been released today! 4.1 alpha within a couple of months but if I understand correctly Dan's message on zotero-dev, DOI will be added to books and chapter in Zotero 4.2.

Zotero is fooled by the underscore (or any other chars which is not a slash or an hyphen) and can't parse the field as a date (as you can see, there's no date parsing indicator, in grey bold, on the right of the field in this case.)

(I think you should rely on fbennett's link though.) Frank: Why is there some differences, e.g. for "treaty", "Date Adopted" is not mapped whereas it is mapped to "original-date" in your document.

Your saved search returns items which are in the 9 selected collections. I.e., if an item is in 8 collections but not in the last one, it won't be returned in the search results.
