I think I have a fix in place for the quote bug, but I didn't have time to test before leaving the house. The approach will be to step through the subtitle string and capitalize the first character that shows a difference in upper- and lower-case fo…

Unless I'm missing something, there doesn't appear to be a clean way to implement this in the current translation architecture; it looks like it would require fragile coding that would raise maintenance issues. Each item type designates a particula…

I'll follow the issue until we figure out what is causing it, but until I can reproduce it, there isn't much I can do.

Does this happen in a new document, or only in a document that is once affected? If the latter, as the document is split by halves, do you end with a document containing a single reference that shows the error? If the document is split again to con…

If the tab is being swallowed on the way to Word, the simplest solution in the short term may be to use some slug (such as "[TAB]") and fix up the document with a find-and-replace. Ugly, but certain. I'm sorry that I can't think of a more elegant so…
-
To be clear, you want to put a tab character after the listed author, and not do a hanging indent of the remainder of the citation?

The plugin and instructions on this page should help: http://zotero-odf-scan.github.io/zotero-odf-scan/

You'll have to check the Word forums for guidance on Word styles (I don't use it, but you should be able to modify the footnote style, and see the change take effect throughout the document).
-
A tab at the start of a footnote should be done through a word processor setting (in the styles); you shouldn't need to touch CSL for that. For a tab inside a citation or bibliography entry, try using:<text value="	">I'm no…

Sorry for the hasty reply, Ole - and thanks again.

Yay. Thanks for reporting back, Eric!

@adamsmith: It's not valid mainstream CSL, but in CSL-m with the Abbreviation Filter one option would be to handle this with a discretionary "hereinafter" value.
-
There were changes in Zotero that I had not yet merged to MLZ. I've done the merge and made a fresh release, it may work better for you in FF 34 now.
-
As an aside, several of us have started a project that will improve the data behind the jurisdiction field in due course. The link is here: http://fbennett.github.io/legal-resource-registry Before putting more fine-grained data to work in the …

@wonblee, Thanks for your report, I'll take a look. When posting about MLZ, just put [mlz] in the subject line, and I'll be sure to pick it up (and it will save you the back-and-forth over which program the query applies to).
-
There are some support functions in MLZ that can be used or adapted to handle it. I'll post a description tomorrow - have to run for an all-day obligation today, and will be tied down through the morning tomorrow.
-
I'll update the gadget tomorrow (I'll be away from home today).
-
I'm doing some style work this weekend, I'll take a look and see if we can do better.
-
I have to run now, but I'll take a look at this tomorrow.
-
@joycekwc, I have to run today for a teaching obligation in another city, but I'll take a look tomorrow. Bump the thread if you don't hear.

That's very good news. Thanks for reporting back.

Re the API, you could go that route also. The Zotero servers do not support multilingual directly, but if a correctly coded data block is placed in the Extra field, it will sync down. There are strict rules for the construction of the block (if it i…

As adamsmith says, switching to another style and then back to MLZ OSCOLA should cause the change to the style to take effect throughout the document.
-
Bibliontology RDF is currently the only format that supports multilingual export and import. Scripted editing of the RDF objects outside of Zotero would be daunting, I think. You may be able to do something with Firefox Scratchpad (working with a c…

I've put up a fresh version of MLZ. See if the new version clears the sync error.
-
(I was on the road during the weekend, just picking this up) @wonblee: I think I've spotted a likely cause. If I'm right, it's a bug in the MLZ client; no action will be required at your end. Stand by, more news soon.
-
Em-dash and en-dash should be no problem, since we're taking a clue from the value of the Zotero-side short-title field. Good point over book titles. We have container-title-short in the CSL schema, so that's covered as far as style validation and …

MLZ has an option for suppressing the period. In the document's MLZ Document Preferences menu, the global option is under the "Style & Format" tab. As the note there says, the global option will suppress trailing punctuation everywhere (i.e. the…

MLZ is now able to suppress terminal punctuation, so I have restored the final period on citations. If you reinstall MLZ OSCOLA from http://citationstylist.org, it should work correctly.

For editing work, try removing the bibliography from the document and using an author-date style.
