Thanks - and noted. I'll be putting up a transitional note soon, and an alert popup in the next release of MLZ, to give existing users a heads-up about the upcoming site consolidation. The style end of things could improve rapidly. The distribution…

Dan: Thanks for catching me. Didn't know that! Ouch.

Those are indeed support files for full-text indexing. Files that are only linked to Zotero will not be indexed, so you wouldn't find those files associated with content outside Zotero.
-
Something like this should do it: https://gist.github.com/fbennett/fda0cfa95fa9237e84ae (Changes are at lines 428-430, I have also changed the style ID slightly so that it won't be overwritten). You can download and install by clicking on the "…

Wow, those are all wrong - sorry about that. I can clean of the distributed list, so that this comes right after upgrading the plugin and resetting the list for the style. Should have that out today.

I understand the issue, and it's an easy fix, just one line of code, and swapping two others. I'm just asking whether the Infoclio style in the CSL repository should be fixed. If this is the sort order required by the published style guide, I can p…

Is that the required sorting pattern of the style? (The link to the guide in the CSL style is out of date, so if you have that, it would also be helpful.)
-
So you want it to sort on the first-listed author only, then by date, then by the other authors?
-
Help is on its way. I've just completed work on an editor for style modules. The new system will allow us to cast separate styles for each jurisdiction, in "portable" code that can be used by all of the MLZ styles. For style authors, this will make …

Yes, that's why you are getting that error message. The quick short-term fix is to shut down Standalone, and reinstall MLZ. If you want to move your database to mainstream Zotero, post back and I can provide some instructions - there are some steps…
-
One quick question: did you install MLZ at any point?
-
Yep, that's definitely wrong. MLZ is in the throes of a major upgrade, one part of which has involved a transform of the jurisdiction identifiers and the abbreviation lists. I've done my best to make the transition a smooth one, but you seem to have…

And I was so eager to clip two birds with one stone. Next time!

If you were referring to a stray "by" that appeared after the reviewed author's name in Chicago Author-Date and APA styles, I only recently picked up on the issue. It was caused by a bug in the processor, which has been fixed in the latest release (…

Thanks for this report (and apologies - looking back through forum posts, I see it was first reported months ago). It was a bug (hopeful use of the past tense there). I haven't traced out the exact logic, but I've made a simple fix that looks right…

The "insert bibliography" button in the word processor doesn't work?
-
('Twas a stop-gap measure of course. Cumbersome, but unambiguous. :-)
-
If you want to move things in this direction, the place to start would probably be the xbiblio-devel mailing list. The CSL specification applies to CSL code only; there is no formal specification for input formats yet. The closest thing is the CSL T…

Well, I'm not standing in the way of reform. The processor can of course easily digest five-field output along the lines you suggest, since that's what it deals with internally. All someone needs to do is convert user data into that form, and prepa…

@juancamax: Haven't heard anything back from you, but here is the style with some fixes: https://gist.github.com/fbennett/2f9caa5097c68dae1355 The style has many small macros that are joined by adding punctuation conditionally to the affixes o…
-
In this case, it seems to be due to flaws in the style code - unless juancamax identifies failures in book type references.
-
Also, could you confirm the target language of the style? (I'm puzzled by the replacement of "and" with "y" for the English locale only.)
-
(1) I can't produce that output with Book or Book Section items, but it seems to be an issue with Manuscript and Report items. Can you confirm that that is where you are seeing the fault? (2) There seem to be a few other formatting issues. It is us…

Which style?

When I used the same citation more than twice it failed. So if I open a fresh (empty) document, set it to MLZ New Zealand Law style, and enter the same citation several times in a row, I should see the failure? (Sorry to keep responding with questio…
-
I wasn't able to reproduce the error by guesswork locally. Although it seems clear there is an issue triggered by the New Zealand Law style, I'm unlikely to be able to trace it down without a set of steps to reproduce it. The sheer size of the doc…

If we assume that title-casing should only be applied to English words in a title, it should be possible to tune the processor in such a way that words beginning with a non-English character are excluded from capitalization. With a simple tweak to …

I think that workaround is still supported in citeproc-js, but I'm not sure whether Zotero strips surrounding quotes. I'm not sure what would happen with a non-breaking space, but it's likely that would do the trick. There are plenty of exceptions…

Yes. When those options are set, I have been told that this particular name (for one of the people to which it applies, at least) should be printed, in sort order, as "De Quincy, John." We don't have a mechanism in CSL for declaring that an apparen…

Could you provide a list of the particles which should have a consistent behaviour (i.e. which are always dropping or non-dropping for the parser) please? Will do. I'll be on the road for the next week - if you don't see anything by the first week in…
