(If you try the style editor on the site, I'm not sure whether you will be able to log in - the SSL certificate on the login manager needs updating, and that will take a few days. If you try in Google Chrome and it fails, you may have better luck wi…

Works fine here, both in csledit and in a document (Juris-M, LibreOffice).
-
Two other questions before I leave you in more capable hands ... First, did you change both the name and ID of the style when you modified it? Second (just to be sure) did you switch away to a different style and then back, when testing in the wor…

Also, I should mention that (as it says on the site) Juris-M will not overwrite or alter your Zotero database. You can go back anytime by stopping the Juris-M Standalone and re-enabling Zotero.
-
Assuming that is the case, then you can get institutional abbreviations by disabling Zotero and installing Juris-M: http://juris-m.github.io/downloads (Zotero proper does not distinguish between personal and institutional names, so this form o…

If you see an "Abbrevs." button, you are probably using the Abbreviation Filter plugin, yes?
-
There are 31 or more authors in your sample?

If off-the-shelf Windows 7, I would assume that it's UTF-8. Dan: I don't see how this could be caused by unminifying TinyMCE, but that looks like the only potentially relevant change. Is that possible?
-
When you say two-byte letter system, do you mean EUC-KR?

The way it would work is to take the existing AGLC style, remove any macros that are specific to primary legal resources, and add a small amount of code to invoke modular legal style code. Then you would need legal style modules for Australian law. …

(I should note that the style editor on the Juris-M site is probably inaccessible at the moment, due to an expired SSL certificate. I'm applying for a fresh one, and the editor should be working again within a week or so.)
-
A couple of notes there. If you use Zotero for legal referencing, you should seriously consider moving to Juris-M (formerly "Multilingual Zotero" or MLZ). It is available as Standalone client, hosted here: https://juris-m.github.io Legal suppo…

I assume this is with a footnote style? The normal way would be to add the comment in the "Suffix" field through the Zotero plugin in the word processor, as:, notes that ...The leading comma will suppress the period. A leading space will have the s…

Yo, that's a happy reverse to find at the end of the day!
-
That's covered. This should be out tomorrow.

I've tweaked the US domain to cover electronic service cites. See anything that should be changed in this sample?Case Name, No. 222, 2000 Lexis 333 (9th Cir. Feb. 5, 1953) Things especially to check are the use of the "No." label on the docket numbe…

Oh, thanks for that note. I'll look at it on Monday, before the releases.
-
And just in case it comes up, I'm not likely to build a site translator for WestLaw or Lexis unless they make it clear that it's not caught by their terms of use. I checked with Lexis staff about that a couple of years ago, and the answer was not en…

Can do. Most of that is already in place—which style are you using? The JM Chicago Full Note and JM Bluebook styles use modular legal style support. See the US cheat-sheet to see what's there so far. Unreported cases are covered, and follow that f…

The first thing to check is whether 33 and 35 are pointing to the same item in your Zotero database, and that you have access to both. If they are both pointing at the same item, the second reference should certainly cite properly as 33 (assuming th…

That's great, thanks! I'll start building out the full updates, and post to the JM lists when they're ready.
-
Okay, here we go. I've disabled the initial list setup rigamarole, and fixed list imports in a fresh plugin release (v.1.1.21). I'll issue fresh copies of the Juris-M Standalone installers on Monday, but in the meantime it would be great if you cou…

Okay, here is the style, after changes needed for validation, as a gist. Click on the "Raw" button to view the file itself. You can save the raw view to your disk and install it. The style editor should now work for you, I think - the login server …

The import format is fine, JSON is already well defined and widely recognized. The code that processes it is just broken. I'll patch it up soon.
-
(I ordinarily wouldn't go this far, mind, but I'm curious whether this is a bug.)
-
Sounds like we need to invest in some infrastructure improvements for the project. It's working here, and I've started ticking through the errors. It looks like it's all trivial stuff - outer spaces in affixes (which aren't permitted in Juris-M), c…
-
No problem, thanks for adjusting the subject line. The style shows 111 validation errors against the Juris-M schema. Many of them are probably minor, but it's very likely that one or more of them is causing unexpected behaviour. To fix the issues,…

What happens when you create an ordinary footnote in the word processor (without using the Zotero button)?
-
It's hard to say without looking at the code of the style directly. If possible, could you subscribe to the Juris-M (aka MLZ) support list, and post a query there? If that's difficult, we can continue in this thread, but please change the title to …
