The entries are useful as test data, because I was unable to reproduce the fault. It saves me the trouble of guessing which portions of each cite are in which Zotero field, and how they are composed. Two pieces of news. The first news item is that…

I tried with some simple entries using a minimal style, and I wasn't able to reproduce the fault (under Linux) in Zotero or in Juris-M, so we'll need to dig a little deeper. Can you export a small set of entries (as RIS, Zotero RDF, or CSL-JSON), p…

Hmm. It's hard to imagine that Firefox locale sorting could be this messed up without a flood of complaints, so maybe this is a processor bug after all. I'll take a look as soon as I have time, and post back.

I have put up draft (and untested) version of a JM CMS Polyglot style, with a note on its requirements for legal referencing support. Give it a try, and post back if there are things in it that need fixing.

Thanks for flagging the bad Report entry. Is there are value in the Jurisdiction field when the ERROR cite text appears (and if so, what is its value)? Locally, we are shepherding about 20 Masters theses through the submission process, with the dea…

Also: which style?
-
Can't think of anything processor-related that would cause it to do that.

Chicago Full Note is easy for us, because we already have a Juris-M version. APA will take some time, because I will need to prepare a Juris-M compatible version of the style. Which languages do you need to localize? Just Russian and Ukranian, or s…

Yes, sorry -- here is the top-level link to the Juris-M site, of course.

Kostiantyn, Sorry, I mistyped the URL. It's fixed now. CSL-M (an extended version of CSL) can produce the effect you want. The linked thread is to a very recent request for the same functionality. It's done by setting multiple cs:layout sections in…

It can be done in Zotero, but it requires changes to the style that are not valid against the official CSL schema. For details (and an example) see this recent thread.
-
The Abbreviation Filter can be used for this, but only when used with Juris-M (a variant of Zotero). If you're interested in exploring that, post back and I can answer any questions.

Can he just drag the references in from EndNote in pre-formatted form (as text)? You could then do the legwork of replacing the text refs with live Z citations (kind of what LiborA suggests, I think).
-
(@kmilgram: It looks like a style block or mismatched tag in your post has corrupted formatting for this thread, on my browser at least. If it's broken at your end as well, it might be worth taking a look to see if it can be fixed.)

If you are working with legal documents, you might (well, you should) take a look at Juris-M, a variant of Zotero that is built to handle legal and multilingual referencing requirements. Some notes on it that are relevant to the issues you raise: Ju…

Oops. Will fix that. Thanks (again) for the catch.
-
Okay! Thanks everyone for the feedback. I think I have a handle on the requirements, so I'll build some more tests and post back when there is something to show, probably sometime during the weekend.

Ah, that's actually normal. Use the active (+) button to add a creator, and enter the second translator's name. Then click the label on the entry (Author) and change it to Translator. If you then want to move the second translator upward (you don't …

Zotero is supplying a tab for all of the references. I think what is happening there is that the first tab-stop in your document is a little too far to the left, so when there are two digits, the text is beyond the first tab-stop and skips to the ne…

Richard: Are all of the add-creator (+) buttons greyed out, or is the last one in the overall list of creators still active?
-
No problem -- I was really surprised that this bug snuck through the rather-large processor test suite before the initial release, and it's good to have it fixed. Thanks for reporting!

How is that conditional used in practice? What happens for roman numeral pages or for non consecutive pages (e.g. '1,10-11')?I don't know what styles do with it generally, but I've used it mostly on Edition, to discriminate between wordy edition nam…

(3) Should page-range collapsing (Chicago, etc) be applied when a leading zero is present, and if so, what should the resulting entry look like? (4) Looking at noksagt's example: uh-oh. That would currently evaluate as non-numeric (I think). Is tha…

Title-case capitalization is a feature of the original style, and applies only to English entries. I can see that it would mess things up for an embedded German or other-language title. We don't have a way of handling that one gracefully at present,…

If retaining leading zeros is desired, that can happen. If retention is useful, it should not require any special markup. Two questions: (1) Should the presence of a leading zero affect the is-numeric conditional? (2) If the answer above is "yes,"…

To confirm: dates should shift to their localized forms? (We can do that, just double-checking.) On aggressive capitalization, I don't see that here. What is your platform (Firefox version, OS)? The editor on https://juris-m.github.io is the only …

(Your suggested changes to the website and to the style are now in place.)

lst[i] is undefinedThis is with one of the Propachi plugins installed, or without?

Oh, there was one point still to confirm. In response to (4), I changed the default locale to "nl-NL," so that items with no language specified will be Dutch. If that should be reverted to English (and the note in the page amended instead) just let …
