Re "then again" query: please refer to the link in my post above.
-
It's been fixed in the current release of the processor, and should come through in beta 3.
-
Thanks for the report. Will check this later today. (What is probably happening, off the top of my head, is that duplicate punctuation is being suppressed on the attribute, before strip-periods is applied. If that combination was missed in our te…

It should be possible to use the "disambiguate" attribute on a conditional to accomplish this. In fragmentary form: This…

In that case, there is a solution under discussion in CSL that should make this possible, in an eventual implementation.

There have been several reports that csledit.xul does not update in real time. Although I'm guilty of perpetrating the patch, I don't have time at the moment to dig into it again. Perhaps some enterprising soul ...

Does issue 1. in the initial post turn on Russian nationality of the author, or on use of the Russian language in the source?
-
@adamsmith: Is it not possible to set initialize-with="." on the author name (in the macro author-short of the ASA style)?
-
(2) is covered by CSL 1.0, supported in Zotero 2.1. This is not possible in Zotero 2.0/CSL 0.8.
-
Sorry for missing that detail; I didn't check the code that I used for testing against the code in your post. The CSL language and the processor are pretty solid at this point. As you work out each piece of the logic, you can trust your knowledge …

A locator and its label should be wrapped in their own group. This will cause the label to be suppressed when there is no value in the companion variable. See the modified version of the macro, below. For a full description of the behavior, see t…

There are two locales to be controlled in Zotero, one for the UI in the browser itself, and one for citation output via CSL. The UI just follows the Firefox locale, as far as I know. Control over the CSL locale is in flux at the moment, but the de…

Zotero 2.1 beta supports this.
-
Aha. As my note says, strip-periods was newly introduced in CSL 1.0. Zotero version 2.1 is the first to use CSL 1.0. Zotero 2.0.9 uses CSL 0.8.1, so strip-periods is not available there (and if you validate the style, validation will fail).
-
Quite possibly so. It seems to test normally now.
-
Is this the sort of functionality you are after? http://www.zotero.org/support/collections#identifying_the_collections_an_item_is_in

I'm on it, thanks. Will test a fix and check it in soon. (Edit: Ah, this will be fixed by changes already checked in.)
-
Actually, on a quick look, the "issue-note" macro renders the macro "issued" both when the item type is "article-journal", and also when it is not "article-newspaper", not "speech", and does have either "publisher-place" or "publisher".

I'll take a closer look later in the day. Good to hear that we're making progress!

The missing editor under CSL 1.0 is due to a bug in citeproc-js. I've fixed and tested it, and the repaired processor should make its way into the next beta release of Zotero. Many thanks for your careful reporting.

The links work fine. The double "in" term arises because you have defined "στο" both as the "in" term, and as the "container-author" term. Inside your macro "container-title-note", you are rendering the "in" term explicitly with the suffix ": ", (…

same problem with greek names. στο (stands for term name "in") appears twice when book author is present (στο: is the correct one). Editor does not appear at all. χωρίς χρονολογία (stands for no date), should be in short-form (χ.χ.)I'm afraid I can'…

In CSL 1.0, I would recommend placing the periods in the locale strings explicitly, because it reduces the amount of complexity and clutter in the CSL (and so makes your life easier). But if the suffix-added period is vanishing unexpectedly for you…

I have added the missing period after μτφ to el-GR in the locale trunk, and pushed the change to the CSL locales repository. It will turn up in Zotero in due course. (Edit: Note that any terms defined in the style file itself will override their c…

Got it. I was unsure of how Greek names should be formatted when building that part of the processor, and didn't have anyone to consult with. The error you are getting can be fixed easily (I'll make the change and test it now). If there is any wa…

With Zotero 2.1 beta they come up in Greek but there are numerous other problems. If you feed descriptions of the problems to this thread, I'll be happy to look at the processor and your CSL to see what changes are required to produce the results you…

@cmbarton, Simon recently submitted a patch to the citeproc-js (the scruffy wizard behind CSL 1.0 support) that seems to be related to the problem described under the link you cite. The problem might go away in Zotero 2.1b3 without any further act…

I'm on my way to teach a class, so a fuller response will need to wait a few hours. But you have no space between Fall and 2003? If so, put a space there and see what happens.

That doesn't give us much information to go on. Please provide more details, such as: - The item type of the entries that render incorrectly - The field content of the entries that render incorrectly - A note of whether the offending entries fail …
