Please provide a sample URL so we can look into this.

At some point, you're not going to be able push all this info into the title. If Zotero could save metadata into the PDFs (which has been discussed in the past), then a smart file manager (recent versions of Windows and Mac OS at least) could displa…

Yes -- just click Disable in the add-ons dialog. Restart Firefox and see if it is fixed. You can re-enable them one-by-one to determine which one is causing the problem.

It's possible that this is the error behind the Scopus translator not working -- can you determine what the file encoding is? You can also send me the RIS file at ajlyon@gmail.com, and I'll take a look and see what the encoding is. Before bothering…

It would be nice to support honorifics in theory, but it seems like it just won't be possible to handle them until (unless) Zotero adds the facility for manually specifying name parts -- honorifics, suffixes, etc. I tried to determine whether honori…

It is also quite possible to modify the export behavior by tweaking BibTeX.js for your own use. The changes you suggest (adding brackets to multi-word names) should be trivial for anyone with even a little programming experience.

I'm pretty sure that we know what it is, so no need for a screen shot. Having the bibliography at the end of the document forces Word to update both the current position in the text and the bibliography at the end. Word doesn't do that kind of editi…

Try disabling other extensions and Personas. This is something I have seen before, and it is not the way Zotero works under normal circumstances. Something is likely interfering with your Zotero installation.

That sounds like the word processor repaginating the document. If it is, it's not much we can do much about, although there has been discussion of ways to help word processors work more efficiently with Zotero. Maybe you could take a screenshot of t…

I still don't see a reliable way to do this, since PDF page ranges and citation page ranges frequently are quite different. You're welcome to explore the code and suggest improvements or submit patches.

I think this should be rather easy to implement, and I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one to welcome this. Since the PDF readers are outside of Zotero's control, and there is no standard way to refer to a section of a PDF so that all PDF readers will…

One oddity is that I can successfully use icloud's webDavQT.ext to mount my cloud drive from within the work network. Zotero requires support for some requests in the WebDAV specification that some WebDAV servers apparently don't implement or don't…

Two things I've noticed so far-- First, the IngentaConnect translator isn't in my version of Zotero, so I had to copy it from the Zotero SVN repository. Second, article pages won't load for me at all on IngentaConnect right now [1], so I can't yet m…

The minimal patch has been committed to the SVN (https://www.zotero.org/trac/changeset/6984) and should hit clients when Dan pushes it or with a future release of Zotero. I will look again at implementing saving from search pages; it is not working…

Yes.

You can continue working without making any further changes-- we haven't figured out yet what's causing this, but it seems to be a bug in the 2.1 betas. It will have to be fixed in a subsequent beta release, and the funny filenames won't actually ca…

There is information on incompatibility with OpenJDK and IcedTea -- it looks like that's what you were running into.

PS: I tried the process, but with Zotero 2.1b1 that I have installed (no MS Word) the Scan RTF hangs indefinitely at the stage "Formatting citations". Hmm. This could be linked to the switch to the new CSL processor in 2.1. Can you create debug out…

I've made some changes that work for everything but search results. Gist at http://gist.github.com/608431 --- you'll need to save it (http://gist.github.com/raw/608431/d83586878508a1e9cab0d40c27bdd6d3b87e65d6/The Economist.js) as "The Economist.js" …

Please look at http://www.zotero.org/support/rtf_scan -- it may work with Framemaker documents as-is.

While going to an in-house solution for date parsing has its drawbacks, moving to the same one as citeproc-js has some obvious pluses. Note also that we get date ranges, seasons, and fuzziness for free by switching to util_dateparser.js.
-
Separate Firefox profiles would be sufficient, so long as you don't need them to be password-protected. There is not a way to do this from within Zotero (although you could do something really messy by changing sync credentials and the location of y…

I can see having the date displayed on mouse-over conform to the user's locale.

Pasting from Microsoft Word can cause funny issues -- does the date appear when you post from other places? As for resizing the pane, that sounds like an incompatible extension-- try disabling all Firefox add-ons except for Zotero and restarting Fi…

This sounds like a Firefox issue. Can you create "debug output after restart" from the preferences window for this and post the debug ID here? See http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2313901&tstart=0 and the Bugzilla page linked t…

D1335512137 This is actually error 500 from the web server receiving the POST request, instead of a No Bucket error as above. My guess is that it might be the Cyrillic title, but we shouldn't break on Unicode in this day and age.
