No, this isn't going to happen, since the suffixes are applied in the citation processor (citeproc-js), and Zotero proper doesn't even know what the suffixes will be ahead of time. This is why writing using the word processor plugins for Word and Li…

Thanks, Rintze. I've opted for: text = text.replace(text.match(/(^\s*ER[^\n]*)([^\0]*)/m)[2],""); It accomplishes the same thing, but will work on \r-delimited lines as well (note the m flag to make the match work in multiline mode). Please go to h…

1. Yes 2. Yes, in the storage folder of your Zotero data directory. 3. Sort of, if the item is in the group library, it doesn't count against your Zotero File Storage quota, unless you are the group owner. And it only counts once-- no matter how man…

Please post the specific sites-- markup like this in the abstracts is a common, but not universal, problem, and we'll fix it on a site-by-site basis.
-
Blogs certain used to be translatable-- they were just a little broken for several months. Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/The Chronicle of Higher Education.js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zote…

And the regular expression is currently looking for one or more space, which is exactly what we should look for.
-
No, there should always be a double space. Single spaces are a violation of the RIS spec, although we allow them now, since many programs violate it in precisely this way.

For JSTOR: Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/JSTOR.js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data). It should start working again. If this works f…

It is a problem, but I'm having trouble nailing it down. There's something about the RIS output the PLoS is giving us that makes the translator choke. I've set it aside for now. Do other PLoS pages work for you?
-
The folks at WorldCat are now aware of the problem and will see what they can do: http://twitter.com/#!/worldcatorg/status/86821505874399232

It looks like Zotero's support for the first is pretty much broken-- it's falling back on DOI, which works for journal articles, but not for other types. Sage Reference Online simply isn't supported by Zotero-- and someone will need to write a tran…

The only reasonable solution is for WorldCat to start putting COinS in their search results again-- otherwise we'd need to completely rewrite the translator. I've reported this via Twitter: http://twitter.com/#!/ajlyon/status/86757794493108224 Libr…

Seems to be working for me. Test URLs?
-
You can enter the title of the article as: Images of Kingship in Paradise Lost Then it will show up correctly italicized in your bibliography. Much of the discussion above is from previous versions of Zotero when this wasn't yet so straightforward.
-
Dan: I know -- I just was hoping to confirm that this is just a URL issue. Can you provide Benoist with instructions for working out what we need to support Bibliopam?
-
Your university is using a proxy system that Zotero apparently doesn't know about, but maybe we can make this work anyway. Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/NCBI PubMed.js and save the file to the translators directory of…

Try reinstalling Firefox and reinstalling Zotero. If the Firefox profile directory wasn't lost in the deletion, your library should show up again fine.
-
This is an issue with your university proxy. When you put point your cursor at the address bar icon, what shows up? My guess is that it will say "DOI", which means that Zotero isn't recognizing that you're looking at Pubmed, probably because the pro…

This isn't yet possible, but hopefully the full citation data will soon be embedded in the fields in Word, which will eventually make it possible to import citation data directly from a document that has been created with Zotero (or Mendeley). Don't…

I think this would be pretty useful too. A contextual menu would be a nice compromise space-wise. Otherwise, is it possible to have Zotero expose optional buttons, so people can enable such a button in LO/OO?
-
We could do that-- but we don't have a nice list of creator types anywhere, and we'd have to do this by specifying all of the cases (unless Dan/Simon want to add a function to magically assign the primary creator type for a given type).
-
In that case, I think we'll need to see if the zotero.org tech support people can help out. Can you edit the first post and change the category to "Website"? That way it's more likely that the correct people will notice and help out.
-
Please do post your question to zotero-dev (http://groups.google.com/group/zotero-dev). It is planned to make Zotero listen for specific DOM events, but we haven't yet decided what to listen for. Post there and maybe we can settle on specific events.
-
I've now committed the changes-- this should be fixed in the next release of Zotero.
-
Did you change the sync password in the Sync section of the Zotero preferences from within Zotero? After changing it on the website (zotero.org), you also need to change it in the local preferences on every computer where you have Zotero installed.
-
The invitations should be in your Zotero inbox, accessible through a link at the top of the page.
-
There may be other types with the same problem-- recordings, films, etc.

Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/RIS.js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data). It should start working again. If this works for you, plea…

Yes, I think you're probably correct that cartographer should be exported as A1 for maps, and A1 for maps should be imported as cartographer. I'll make the appropriate changes.

Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/Informaworld.js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data). It should start working again. If this works for …
