Do this in Python, preferably building off of the libzotero library exposed by Qnotero. It should give you group library access, and be much faster than using the server API. Since libzotero reads from the Sqlite database, it knows exactly what Zote…

Right -- I hadn't read removeDiacritics() carefully enough to confirm that it has proper two-letter expansions where appropriate. Updated on GitHub accordingly.
-
I also commented out the bit that requires the semtrans package, so that we preserve compatibility with vanilla BibTeX workflows. As it stands, ZU.removeDiacritics is only applied in Zotero 3.0, and they will not be removed in Zotero 2.1.x.

I just cleaned up romanov-umich's code and removed the duplicated code, essentially as noksagt says: http://github.com/ajlyon/translators/raw/master/BibTeX.js This would be good to cover with unit tests, but we don't have support for unit tests for…

I suspected that might be the case-- and I'm very glad to hear that it is. I haven't gotten a chance to try it, but it sounds like phpZoteroWebDAV is a huge step forward for Zotero users!
-
The attachments should sync properly, if the same WebDAV settings are in place on all the computers. It is not straightforward to get a simple display of the attachments-- they are zipped and saved with encoded filenames for a number of reasons; for…

This is fixed in the repository and should work in the next version of the integration plugin. Thanks for pointing this out.

Zotero can import MARC, MODS, BibTeX, RIS, Bibliontology RDF and some lesser-known formats. Can Concourse export in any of these? What export formats does it support?
-
I think I know what's happening here-- it has to do with the change to the Embedded RDF translator, which Biomed was using. Now we're getting a bogus attachment that's causing issues when it saves. Workaround forthcoming, but this should probably be…

That's not supposed to be possible, but I get the same error as adamsmith. This will be looked into ASAP. Error (Zotero 3.0b2, Firefox 7, Ubuntu 11.10): [JavaScript Error: "[Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80630003 (NS_ERROR_STORAG…

Can't we use tickets in Trac for the requests and their status, and add a "papercuts" report that we link to here and/or on the wiki? Unless Trac is on its way out, following the source code's migration.

Was I able to do that before I set up Zotero Storage whilst I was using iDisk storage? I don't know ... I never attempted this trick.... No, that wasn't possible before. ZFS has better integration across the board, since files in WebDAV are not dir…

In addition to echoing the recommendation to consult zotero-dev, note that Gnotero provides a Python library for accessing your library, so this becomes quite easy to do if you can use Python: http://www.cogsci.nl/blog/tutorials/97-writing-a-command…

See http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/20274/ This should be fixed relatively soon; use Amazon.com for now.
-
Use link attachments, which allow you to add links to arbitrary URLs as of Zotero 3.0.
-
I'm not seeing where this is happening either, but I'll keep digging.
-
This isn't something I can fix; the Zotero core team will have to acquire an Amazon associate tag so we can add it to the request template.

Looks like this change, announced for November 1, has already taken place for non-US servers.

There has been discussion of adding more disciplines before, but I don't know if the list has ever been expanded as a result. I don't suppose there's a nice, standard list of disciplines out there that could be used? Because I'm sure the folks at Zo…
-
I think the original poster is referring to the disciplines on the group and individual profile pages.

See ZotFile: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/zotfile/ and http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/5301/ Then you can create the new document in ZotFile's inbound folder, then right-click on the destination item in Zotero and use ZotFile …

You may want to explore running a local instance of Zotero's translation server, which powers the current server-side translation service that the Chrome and Safari connectors use when Standalone is not installed or not available: https://github.com…

Dan: Thanks for the clarifications on the encoding and zipping, and what is and isn't changing post Fx10. I certainly see why adding WebDAV attachment support to Zotero.org may not be worth the substantial effort required. I will be exploring it for…

It isn't their own schema-- it's mainly DC Terms and BIBO.

The RDF for individual holdings is quite logical and straightforward: http://openlibrary.org/books/OL23759109M.rdf Unfortunately, Zotero doesn't yet know how to work with many of the vocabularies used, and doesn't get anything useful from that reco…

You should be able to find it by entering zotero://select/QVSM8PA5 into the address bar, which will bring up the corresponding item in the Zotero pane.

WebDAV syncing can still keep them synced between multiple computers-- say a work computer and a home computer. It is also possible that the online library links will work in the future-- the limitations in Firefox that make ZIP files necessary on …

Attachments synced via WebDAV aren't currently accessible via the online library at Zotero.org.

I was getting empty RIS records, but now it's working for me. Clearly some room for improvement here.
