It is not possible to mark items as not duplicates.

This suggestion makes sense to me. I created a ticket, so you can follow the progress here. https://github.com/zotero/zotero/issues/77

adamsmith: thanks for spotting the typo, it is now fixed wonblee: I too use Zotero file storage (although not with the mronkko account, but another account) so having the ability of uploading annotated file is a high priority. The 1.1. version will…

For details on the file sync options http://www.zotpad.com/node/20 ZotPad 1.1 will have a semi-public beta, which will be announced later. I hope to start this in a month and do a release maybe a month after that.
-
ZotPad will provide twoway syncing starting from 1.1 I will write an article about this on the ZotPad site and post a link to this thread later.

A patch implementing this was submitted to Zotero http://groups.google.com/group/zotero-dev/browse_thread/thread/397c92dc143f9297 It will most likely to be included in Zotero at some point.

You are certainly welcome to suggest features. This particular feature has been requested before and I believe that is on the development roadmap as well.
-
Not really. Although Zotero 3.0 does store citation information embedded in the document, there is currently no way to import that back to Zotero. (This is a planned feature, but has not been implemented yet.) I really recommend setting up syncing…

Being able to select multiple collections, but only within a single library could be confusing. How would you indicate that only part of the collections are ctrl-clickable. A user that finds out that multiple selection is possible will eventually tr…

This is difficult to implement without making it confusing. Consider the following cases: -What if a user would choose collections from different libraries? Would this mean that the item would be added to Zotero as two copies? -What would the item…

How would you like it to work from the user interface perspective? The problem with dragging and dropping is that at least on Mac, Drag and Drop is either "copy" or "move" or "open", depending on the context. It is never "link". If it was "link" i…

HTML file previewing is a problem with maComfort and there is nothing that I can do about it. Thanks for testing.

I posted more info on the main support thread.

There is now a new version that at least for me works on Windows 7 and Zotero Standalone 3.0.3 https://github.com/mronkko/ZoteroQuickLook/raw/master/zoteroquicklook.xpi After I get some confirmation that this does solve the Windows problems, I wil…

There is no such feature. The problem is that when "retrieve metadata" does not identify a PDF, it is likely that the PDF does not contain any information that Zotero could use to identify it. Also you can do what you request by just doing the fol…

I posted an explanation to the support thread here http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/11441/5/new-plugin-zoteroquicklook/#Comment_119322 Unfortunately I cannot test this at this point since I do not have a Windows computer.

There is something wrong with ZoteroQuickLook that makes it uninstallable on Windows. It will be some time before I can take a look at this because I do not have a Windows computer and my virtual machine that was running Windows requires a reinsta…

Which operating system are you using when you encounter the error with ZoteroQuickLook?

Group libraries do not support WebDAV file storage. The easiest workaround is to use Zotero file storage. Using a single account would not work because you cannot make it read only. What might work is to mount the storage directory inside the Zoter…

Which versions of Firefox and Zotero do you have? Instead of importing a library, you should consider syncing the two computers http://www.zotero.org/support/sync

You can purchase more quota if you want.

The DOI is on the fourth page. Zotero's metadata retrieval currently only checks for (sufficient) OCRed text as far as the third. It makes sense not to scan the entire document. However, the reason for failing is not that there is no OCRd text, but …

Also, a related to this report. The item type that I would use for this is "report", and the report says that it should be cited as OECD (2011), Entrepreneurship at a Glance 2011, OECD Publishing. http://dx.doi.org/10.1787/9789264097711-en Howeve…

You should use Zotero sync to synchronize the databases between computers. Only put the storage folder in a file syncing service.

UTF-8 is not supported by latex on the systems that I have (Macs and Linuxes). Export in ISO Latin 1 and it will work. Also, check out lytero.

You can check if you have synced Zotero by clicking on the "My Library" link below the Zotero logo on this page. If your online library is empty, then it is not possible to recover the libraries unless you have backups of the old computer. I highl…

Depends a lot on how you had Zotero set up. Do you synchornize Zotero with the Zotero server? Do you still have access to the old computer or backups of the old computer?

Is there a problem in citing photos as artworks? How would citing a proto differ?

What is the exact error message?
