Just reinstalled. I change the style to Cite them right and then Bluebook to check. Report ID: 429044938

As I am trying to recreate the same in OSCOLA,, which format is: actual link (last visited DATE), archived at perma.cc I was able to add the perma.cc reference, but could not find where to add the parenthesis to the last visit date
-
ok. Got it... Last, I tried changing the word "Accessed" for "last visited" in the code and it just deleted the word altogether. Is there a way to change this? Thank you!

Got it. Quick question. The format appears ... Available at www.https://Link (Accessed DATE)(archived at perma.cc)... Where can I move the code you gave me within the style editor so the "archived at..." appears right after the link where the sou…

Ok. I got it. Ran it through the validator with no problems. Thanks! Nos, which field in Zotero do I use to add the perma.cc to test the citation?
-
I followed all your steps and when I double click on the file to install in Zotero, I get this message: Update existing style "Cite Them Right 10th edition - Harvard" with "Cite Them Right 10th edition - Harvard" from /Users/sartorio/Documents/perso…

Ok, I am typing what the different alternatives and it is not working so I will try this: Before: The layout code as is After (1): Substitute the word "layout" for the code you provided leaving the / as is or After (2): Adding the code you sent aft…

It did not come through... Before: After (1): >
-
Ok, I think it is clear from my previous messages that I do not have your level of code competency... Before: After (1): or After (2): or After (3): ??
-
Any thoughts?

I erased the saved style and redid the steps. Here is how the line looks like after I add what you suggested: I am unsure whether I need to substitute or copy next to it as I just did. I checked and I am using Cite Them Right 10th edition - Harva…

Here is the error the validation gave me: Errors Line 306: Element “text” from namespace “http://purl.org/net/xbiblio/csl” not allowed as child of element “bibliography” from namespace “http://purl.org/net/xbiblio/csl” in this context. (Suppressing …

I saved it anyways... So, which field should I add the perma.cc link to test the output?
-
I got this message: is not a valid CSL 1.0.1 style file, and may not work properly with Zotero.
-
@bwiernik Elsevier - Harvard (with titles) or SAGE - Harvard
-
Unfortunately, it appears what you suggest is beyond my abilities as I do not understand how to implement it. Thanks anyways.
-
So, would I just input the perma.cc link into different fields and try different styles to see which one fits?
-
@adamsmith, when you suggest using the "archive" field, what would that look like in the resulting citation string? @bwiernik, I am using Harvard.
-
Yes, it is.

I understand. Speaking with Scrivener support, they suggested compiling to RTF and opening in TextEdit to confirm that Scrivener handled the citations correctly and behaved as expected. Then ask Zotero support what to do next. I did just that, and…

Thank you for the link. The examples provided show these examples of a proper citation: Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, 21 U.S.C. § 387 (2012). Lanham (Trademark) Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 1051–1141n (2012). Communications Act of 1934, 47 U.S.C. § 223…

I submitted a ticket to Scrivener. Is there anything we can do on this end?
-
What would help you find the issue? I used an existing paper where the issue was not happening. I deleted everything on that document, then copy/paste the text unformatted, and finally went through the whole document manually, inserting each citati…
-
Ok. I just sent it. Please let me know if that works. Thanks!
-
Just sent. I assume you were referring to the rtf file since I sent the odt with citations already.
-
I just sent the email with the document. Please let me know if there is anything else you may need. Thank you for helping to find an answer to this puzzling issue.
-
UPDATE: I tried working on another document, and the problem does not occur. I tried opening a brand new Scrivener document and copy/paste from the problem document, but it also brought over the issue. I made a folder into the project where the i…
