you shoul be able to restore them, I dont use box but I heard that the box stopped the offering WebDAV, still it might be possible to get the files locally to your machine and put into right location

@klpenner you could just install Zotero 6 and Zotero 7 side by side (the only downside of this solution is a need of manually enabling plugins and restarting when switching back to zotero 6)

Thanks, I just noticed this thread I my case on mac I didn't get any pop-up saying that update happened, just the version number changed silently (I am on MacOS 13.4 with m1 processor)

yes, you might define the naming paterrn (replace blanks) via prefrences in Zotfile plugin, also for all you existing files, Zotfile will handle your future files too
