Good to know. Thanks. I was thinking that the metadata would be better with the connector. One difference between the two methods on this page: the right-click gives a better name to the snapshot, while the connector calls it simply "snapshot."

One-window apps are supposed to quit when their one window is closed, though there are a few exceptions out there. Not really sure why hiding or minimizing the window wouldn't suffice though.

Could the info on the about:config connector pref get added to the hidden prefs page? And maybe also to the short page on the standalone? There's a reference to using connectors there, but not to the about:config part in FireFox.

GUI thing on the Mac version: lose the horizontal line at top right below the buttons and above the Toolbar. It shouldn't be there (and keeps making me think there's another window just behind Zotero).
