Thanks, @erazlogo. The instructions appear to require Zotero OCR, or is there a way without it?

The new Actions and Tags for Zotero plug-in has a script at https://github.com/windingwind/zotero-actions-tags/discussions/172, which lets you create a shortcut to those tabs.

I do a Ctrl-z (undo) just after it makes the change, and it makes the asterisks part of the regular text.

The PDFs are being made on my PC by Swifdoo. I just tried making the PDF with Calibre and it worked as it should.

I sent it to the support email. The last footnote is the problem.

I have five Zotero profiles, but six copies of zotero.dotm, on my computer. The fifth one is in the STARTUP folder, but the sixth was added when I installed the new copy of the Z7 beta. Could this be causing the problem? I wanted to check that befor…

Thanks, @adomasven. After rebooting and going back into Word, I got the same error. In looking at the instructions you put the link to, I'm finding something that could be the problem or could have nothing to do with it. It tells me to look for my Z…

Thanks, @martynas_b. I even confused myself when I read it back. I'm talking about having some control over the way the text boxes look that you can put into a PDF with v7. When I use similar tools in Adobe DC, etc., I often change the color, size, …

2) Odd Spreads creates two columns in many EPUBs. The EPUB has to support reflowing. ------------ My EPUB was reflowing, but I had it set to scrollable, rather than paginated. Works now.

Very helpful, Dan. Thanks!

Here is another: In all three reader document types (PDF, EPUB, and snapshot), a highlighting color bar pops up when you select text. For the PDF and snapshot, a second option is there to Add to Note. Why would that not also be available for the EPU…

Yes, it was the Night plugin. Thanks!

I figured it out. The images are tiny when it's set to be paginated. When I change it to scroll, they blow up full size.
-
For reasons unknown, this has corrected itself. Sorry!

This is happening on web snapshots from my own website (Genohistory.com), if it can be of help in the troubleshooting. My server is Bluehost, and my theme is Astro Pro by wpastra. I use quite a few plugins that could affect CSS. I have done little m…

I have had trouble finding other EPUBs with large images, but I found one with children's drawings. https://www.epubbooks.com/book/1066-the-tale-of-benjamin-bunny It also makes the images much smaller when the side panes are open. Because the imag…

@connor_gray, I was able to share attachments across three computers during my work life--one at the university, two at my home--and I stayed under the 300MB storage limit for seventeen years with about 8,000 items. The attachments only needed to ex…

Good plan!

I love this idea!

Thanks so much, #northword!

That's good to hear. Thank you!

You're in luck, @cdewitt. All of these are handled by the new plugin: Actions & Tags for Zotero (https://github.com/windingwind/zotero-actions-tags). It's working in the Z7 beta. The instructions and scripts can be found in the Readme at https:…

Perfect!

I've tried on Chrome and Bing. It's doing the same thing. It thinks for a long time, then goes to a blank screen. I've tried multiple different ways in, including the link you gave above.

I'm on Windows 11. I've gone back and forth with the two profiles for quite a while. I'm not sure when I changed something on that. I'll see what I can do. It's possible my monitor was set at 125%. Could that cause the mangled buttons?

You're singing my song, @mtorresmeq. Welcome to a worldwide wonder.

Recently, it began asking me if I wanted to download on this particular website for one day or every website. I'm puzzled by this message. Adam, is this a Zotero message? I've never seen it.

Last night, I dug into Actions & Tags for Zotero (https://github.com/windingwind/zotero-actions-tags), and it is phenomenal. It is designed to be expandable and to allow you to tweak the code and tailor the interface for your own needs. It takes…

Thank you, @hsiangyu_wong. The things you have done and continue to do for us all are remarkable. I will get familiar with the new plugin. I hope some of the items listed above as "most essential" may be added to your list of features, if not yet th…
