Is this one not working again? I am trying to save a bunch of hits from Ebsco Business Complete, but I get no results (and I AM using 'new search). Debug ID is D1878048756.

Fantastic! Thanks much, that's EXACTLY what I was looking for.
-
Bingo! That was it. Thanks much Aurimas. I guess I should have noticed that only one had related articles. But so that solves this problem! You guys are just fantastic...
-
I changed the setting to 'Never remember history', restarted and ... still no cigar...

Firefox 21.0, Zotero 4.0.8 on Win 7. And I also replicated it on another Win 8 machine. When I click on the 'Select Items' folder-icon, it only shows me ONE hit (the third one: "Marketing to the Base"). Can you select all 5?

Is this better - D1006013510? Also - it got stuck again, but on a different record in a different collection. So maybe it did manage to process the previous ones?
-
I now waited for a long time before submitting the report. The number is 229876656. Does that one help?

Disabled all other plugins. Activated debugging. Restarted. Same problem - D1302621090.

It turns out that the team that produces the European Union's Interinstitutional Style Guide doesn't have the resources to come up with a standard for us. The main stumbling block being that they would have to translate whatever it is they would com…

Ok. To be continued.

Thanks much! And fingers crossed. But so Frank, do you think that something like I propose here: to download a set of newspaper articles as LexisNexis allows, to parse those in such a way that we can enter them in Zotero with the key fields in…
-
Right. I'm really going to have to take a closer look at those things. But all I want to do is to use some textmining tools on these articles. So instead of just reading 100s of articles, I want to quickly get a feel for the main topics, the trends,…

I see what you mean. And yes, it is nice to see how far along the import is (e.g. which pdf files and which have not yet been downloaded). But still - if I sent one of you a file with a few hundreds of articles from LexisNexis, would it be hard to w…
-
Well, the thing is that LexisNexis also have one of the better full-text newspaper collections, so it's not ONLY for lawyers :) As to the progress button - if that's the only drawback, I certainly wouldn't lose sleep over it!
-
But I mean the downloadable exports... I also notice that we can now export in some bibliographical formats too. When I select RIS, FF asks me automatically whether I want to import them into Zotero, which is nice. But I'm typically also intereste…

Still no progress on this one? And is there really no way to somehow parse the exportable full-text files in such a way that at least the key fields (publication source, date of publication, title, byline, actual text etc) get entered in the right Z…

As the original 'culprit' let me just say that while we may work on quite a few EU projects, we are far from experts in the interinstitutional style guide. All we did was refer Sebastian to the instructions we had received (which I posted here https…

Dan, on the PC I am trying to sync right now, it would be an incremental download. And yes, it is (mostly) a group library I'm trying to add - I don't know if you can 'see' these things, but it's called 'HCSS-Shared Value Creation'.
-
Thanks Dan. And yes, we probably do use Zotero more intensely than most :). Also yes, (some of) these are new computers, so we will try copying things manually. But the main change now is just ONE collection that a colleague of mine added to his lib…

No, it's regular Zotero now.

Well as I said, Zotero hung when I tried to import the *.bib file into Zotero. So I figured I had the same problem that made the other people try the java program. I'll try again

The javascript was in the mobileread link posted by Rintze in this thread - here is the URL: http://www.it.usyd.edu.au/~tapted/bib2endnote.html - and this is a BibTeX to Endnote (proprietary XML) converter.

Does this still work for people? When I try to import the *.bib catalogue I exported from Calibre, Zotero hangs for me (that is to say - it starts the dialogue box, I see a bit of green going left and right, but then it just seems to freeze); and wh…

The reason I suggested Zotero to her is that she could then automatically download all the bibliographical info without having to type it all in manually. I'll take a book at the bibtex-solution. Thanks!

Thanks to Frank, we have now ironed out a few glitches and the whole thing now does work on Windows. I've posted instructions here https://rizzoma.com/topic/18126838ff7437aa668bc2f070777841/. Improvements always welcome of course!

Ha! My bad. I did the Ctrl-Alt-A (and C) in Firefox, but then tried to do Ctrl-C in Chrome. I now copied it into Google Docs in FF, and there it DOES indeed work. Up to the next step! Thanks Frank

FF 17.0.1, Windows 8 Enterprise N (but I'll try on a Win 7 machine too in a bit), MLZ 3.0.11m310. Yes, I do have other addons. I'll try disabling them. Any ideas which ones might conflict? I have Papermachines and Zotero Word for Windows Integration…

Frenk - sorry that was a typo: I DID do Ctrl-Alt-A. But I still get sthg like this: Белоусов, Краткий Отчет о Научно-исследовательской Работе По Теме: «Исследование Взаимосвязей Важнейших Параметров Социально-экономического, Научно-технологического …
