That looks like a feature in one of your addins, maybe Ethereal Reference. It is not native to Zotero. You can disable the addin or refer your request to the developer for that addin.

The touch issue I described is still there in beta 77. I could take a picture of my finger over a blank menu but is that to prove the issue exists? Zotero 7 is great but the touch issue is annoying.

The reduced contrast is a great improvement. Much easier on the eyes.

The new interface is great! Alternate shading is a useful option but I do find the alternating shading harder to read, especially in dark mode. It would be good to have an option to toggle the alternate shading in Settings > General > Interface

I did a post on the same issues a couple of weeks ago. No reply as yet from the developers.

Note that in Zotero 6 I can bring up the shortcut menu by touch.
