That's almost always one of three things: 1. You have the file in question open in another tool (e.g., an external PDF reader) 2. Security software is interfering 3. You don't have permissions set correctly for the Zotero storage folder (which is in…

For standard creator variables (e.g. when adding editors to a webpage or so), using multiple lines with repeated labels, i.e. something like Editor: Editor1, Firstname Editor: Editor2, Firstname works. But only actual CSL names variables are reco…

Zotero's proxy integration will direct everything from an included hostname through the proxy schema. I see how that might cause issues when combined with other authentication (like ORCID). I don't think I have seen this -- when I review for Cambr…

You also need to say what exactly isn't working
-
How quickly we merge varies considerably, but this got merged almost instantaneously and is already available in Zotero (and should auto update for you)
-
We can try to work around this, but this comes directly from UChicago Press and should be reported to them. To test, click on the wrench icon, then "Download Citation" and select RIS. Open the downloaded file with a text editor (you may need to tell…

Note that you can just install Chicago 18 from the linked pull request https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/486641/#Comment_486641

See the script at the bottom of that thread. Also, I believe Zutilo is now compatible with Z7
-
Could you provide more detailed steps to reproduce/understand the problem? Where are you saving to (URL)? And what do you mean by "directly to files"?
-
No, I saw this too -- it looks like WoS is storing all publicatinos (books, journals) in all caps -- no idea why.
-
@dstillman -- could this happen in a group? @DGSLaw -- note that Zutilo now has released (perhaps in beta, check their GitHub) a version compatible with Zotero 7 and ZotFile functionality is replicated for Zotero 7 my the zotmoov plugin.
-
Could also be rate limiting by WoS. Could you provide a debug ID from the Zotero connector for the URL you're posting as well: https://www.zotero.org/support/debug_output
-
dstillman above is the lead dev, i.e. there are no plans to implement this. I don't think anyone has so much as asked about this in the last 2 years, so also doesn't seem like much demand.
-
You can simplify 3-6 to one click using https://github.com/retorquere/zotero-open-pdf
-
I don't love pdf.js (the reader Zotero uses) for printing in general -- I'd just open in an external reader (via show file) if you want to priz
-
And as for the settings, I was looking at this page (https://www.zotero.org/support/connector_preferences) as a reference where it is mentioned and showed that options for pdf saving would be in the connector's preferences. Those settings only appl…

What happens if you do edit them? Do they update then? They shouldn't be visibly linked (i.e. not be blue/underlined), so something isn't quite right
-
No, numeric styles work in Google Docs too. Could you either post a screenshot and/or explain a bit more what the problem is?
-
If you must use the 3rd edition, we can tell you how to get that version back, but seems silly to require a style for which you can no longer get the style guide
-
(looks like it is working for me now, though, so try again)
-
Thats the PubMed API being down. It usually fixes itself within a couple of hours though who knows what effects current mayhem at NIH has on that
-
Zotero imports from most library catalogs, use those.
-
(MHRA has officially withdrawn the 3rd edition, which is why we at CSL removed the style rather than keeping both 3rd and 4th edition, as we often do for other styles)
-
Sieht sehr wie eine Datenbank auf einer externen (oder Netzwerk) Festplatte aus die nicht richtig initialisiert.
-
correct, yes
-
You can set the interface language right at the top of the General tab of the Zotero preferences, but none of the English languages are YYYY-MM-DD. All the non-US English ones are DD-MM-YYYY. Zotero doesn't use your system date settings, so those a…

Not with Zotero. I'm not sure this is possible at all with Google docs. I think you should be able to do this with a Word macro if you're in Word (and I'd guess it's possible in LibreOffice)
-
What exactly is wrong with the existing style? Have you tested it?
-
Can you say more? What do you mean by trimming and where? If this is about the item pane, which fields are you seeing trimmed? I believe only creator fields are trimmed and they have a different logic (since there can be multiple).
-
I don't believe this has changed. You can collapse a library by clicking the small triangle to it's left or using the - key on your keyboard, and you can expand all collections using the + key.
