a) You can disable this on a per-item basis by included the language in the Zotero item metadata. That's generally the recommended method since it will continue to (correctly) capitalize English titles in styles that call for it. See https://www.zot…

This is not a general issue (nor, obviously, is this intended behavior)-- I have Snapshots selected and still get JSTOR PDFs attached nor have we seen any other reports of this (and most people have that preference checked since that's the default).…

Confirming 1 and 2 -- thanks! Understood re: 3) and I think this is typically fine -- I don't need to constantly use different citation styles in the mobile app, I just had expected it to work like the web library. I thought the "Duplicate" butto…

That's correct Chicago Manual since the 18th edition. Are you sure you need it (there are some style options that still include it, but for common usage you shouldn't need it)

I don't think this thread (which is about getting the Zotero citation picker as provided by a plugin to appear in front of VS Code editor) is relevant for you & you found the appropriate one here: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/72025/zoter…

For Safari it's right-click anywhere in any webpage --> Zotero preferences

It's not expected behavior and it works correctly (i.e., places the cursor in the note search when clicking the magnifying glass icon is clicked) for me in the beta on Windows. Can you reproduce this in Troubleshooting mode?

MFA doesn't protect you against exposed API keys, though. API calls are never subject to additional authentication

You can not use LaTeX in annotations, only in notes

Since an item can have multiple colors tag (something I find invaluable in my work), a context menu in which you'd clumsily check/uncheck tags wouldn't work well. The keypad functionality for colored tags isn't super discoverable, I agree, but in …

They really do: https://www.zotero.org/support/collections_and_tags#colored_tags

Right, but the point here are colored tags, which do just that.

Could you provide an example of what you see in the bibliography? The style does that correctly.

(See in particular the Note about the hidden Library folder)

Those are the right instructions and your data folder really, really shouldn't be there. Could you post the filepath at which you're looking (feel free to XXX out your username for privacy if you want)

It's not always the same position and it also doesn't always happen -- I was able to reproduce this a number of times, including after restarting in troubleshooting mode, obviously, but now it hasn't happen for some tries... context menu outline sou…

The Zotero debug isn't relevant -- Zotero is listening but doesn't get the information. Have you tried in a different browser to figure out if this is Edge specific or affects your whole system? Also, have you disabled any other browser extensions …

And there is no way to rename them. You absolutely can rename the attachment by selecting it and then clicking on the attachment title in the right-hand panel. Still, if I could choose, I would prefer to have the filename instead of "PDF" or the li…

Can you give us an example? It's certainly possible there are alternatives

You want to be absolutely sure that all files have synced up to the servers (and ideally down to your consolidated local machine) -- check the attachment column in the middle panel and make sure nothing is greyed out. If that's the case, you can de…

Yeah, you're looking at different accounts. email storage@zotero.org and request that they transfer your storage subsription to the Akshay_RB account (though before doing that, make sure you can actually log into that account.

You'd have to give us an example but if you're looking directly at the PDF and using the extension, Zotero will always download it -- that's the only thing there _is_ to download in that case.

Title case for short titles used in in-text citations is a little known but correct APA rule. I don't have the manual here, but you can see it on the APA website e.g. here: https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/references/examples/wikipe…

i.e. rename the existing file with something like -old, copy in the new file and give it the same filename.

right-click --> show file shows you the file in your file manager of choice

ctrl+a should still work and does for me

Can you link to the style here?

You'd need to add initialize="true" to all instances of

You can just test this out (keeping the old PDF as a copy so you can swap it back in). I'd expect it to not work well because annotations are anchored by location and obviously once you insert new pages, that gets changed.
