Yes. The standard option is to use the suffix field for parentheticals associated with a citations as well as additions after semicolons. That would allow you to Refresh.

Thanks -- I can replicate this. This affects styles that don't have a bibliography defined. The intended behavior is that they just use the citation form when you copy the (non-existent) bibliography to clipboard. That's exactly what happens the fir…

It is also the case that the search and the PDF use different rendering, so it's not entirely impossible that their results diverge, though I'd be surprised about the extent.
-
Oh sorry, without access to the library that's indeed not currently possible
-
You mean the Word Stylesheet, right? That's not code that anyone here wrote, so not sure you'll find anyone here to fix it, I'm afraid (though you could obv. try yourself; might be that LLM can help?)

You can check your storage on https://www.zotero.org/settings/storage and if it's completely full, that's likely the issue. If it's not, see the other possibilities here: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/files_not_syncing

The first tool can with the select in Zotero option

I agree, volume title comes up a fair amount for books, so I think adding it to Zotero makes sense (I'm guessing it just got overlooked)

This feauture has been superseded (or, I would say, implemented) by https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/121707/available-for-beta-testing-reader-appearance-popup-with-theme-support/p1

5. I really just want a field that would tell me where *I* found it or can find it. The standard approach for that would be Extra or a note. If you want to 'abuse' a field,.I would consider 'Rights' or 'Citation Key' -- DOI is just used in a lot of …

FWIW, the Linter for Zotero plugin does a pretty good job updating metadata, unless you have very specific requirements it'll work well for you.

fcheslack answered the question about privileges -- the three things listed are the three differences between admins and owners; there are no others. what do you mean by "storage for the group is drawn against their quota"? Attachment storage in g…

That's not right. Zotero 6.0.25 is almost 3 years old and the latest update to Zotero 6 (6.0.37) is almost two years old: https://www.zotero.org/support/6.0_changelog

Which word processor and does this happen in a fresh document with just the Ooomen-Welke citation?
-
No, Zotero basically ignore XMP metadata (the format tags & other info is written to PDFs) because it's more likely to be useless than useful.
-
Because at some point you have to stop supporting old versions -- it's just not viable to have a whole bunch of different versions of your software installed for troubleshooting, track all changes and their impact across old versions etc. That's cer…

One option is to replace the URL in the item you cite with the wayBackMachine URL at that point in time. Not only is that URL timestamped (so you'll be able to see the timestamp in the citation), it also gives readers access to the version you actua…

Section order is e.g. moving the notes section or the abstract section all the way to the top on the right. Sections are the things you can toggle on the right. All standard fields (like title, publisher, date, etc.) are all in the same section

You can just switch the position of footnotes in Word to the end of the document (see https://www.simuldocs.com/blog/how-to-change-the-location-of-footnotes-or-endnotes-in-microsoft-word ) Or use the Zotero setting in the document settings to chan…

I'm testing on Zotero 8, so testing on 7 is particularly welcome

Confirmed as planned, yes: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/504725/#Comment_504725

As an alternative, see https://github.com/syt2/zotero-addons or the linked repo: it's less thoroughly vetted, but the Zotero plugins page is currently basically unusable with many high profile plugins missing and others listed that haven't been main…

I'd generally use encyclopedia for online encyclopedia's, though it honestly doesn't matter greatly

You misunderstood the last sentence -- that's hypothetical, the option doesn't currently exist.

Note that 7.0.31 has an original date field. The information from Extra should have migrated there (it's not currently used in citations but that's a bug that should be fixed shortly). Can you check if you see the dates there?
-
(devs will have to speak to this, but given past discussions this looks like a bug to me -- it's still there when you use right-click --> create bibliography and those two views should I think behave the same)
-
@dstillman -- I don't think you should do this globally for all users, but think it'd be super helpful to provide javascript code for it for those who did use director as quasi creator previously.

Hi all, especially @jcmeunier @paultroop -- I've just released a Zotero 7/8 compatible version, please see https://github.com/Juris-M/zotero-odf-scan-plugin/issues/60#issuecomment-3747607219 for release & testing notes. Thanks for your patience.

Completely delete it. Collapse shouldn't be in that line
