Zotero searches library catalogs for ISBNs - it doesn't look like either of the ISBNs/books is in any of the large catalogs it searches. There's no centralized metadata store for ISBNs
-
Zotero looks for the linked file in a folder that doesn't include Zotero PDFs -- that shouldn't be possible with the way you describe your set-up (unless you created it previously)
-
The source folder is irrelevant for file storage (as the name "source" suggests, it's a folder that ZotFile lets you monitor for attaching new files to existing items). Depending on your set-up, you may need to adjust the linked attachment base fold…
-
That's unrelated to the style (styles can't mix notes and in-text citations even if we wanted them to). Some part of the conversion isn't working -- that'd be the same with any citation style. You can try switching back to whichever style you were …

Not sure I understand , but to restate what I was trying to say: they can add files in the group (assuming you allow that) and they don't need to pay for it.
-
You can toggle the enndnote number format from Roman to Arabic numerals in Word -- easy to Google how exactly with your Word version
-
What's wrong with the current Hastings Center style? That looks exactly like what you have here?
-
The storage space for a group you own only counts towards your account's storage limit, so yes in that sense, which I think is what you mean. There are no shared folders in Zotero and obviously they won't be able to use your storage for their perso…

@laurenbradley7 no, that's not correct (anymore). Which citation style are you using? If you're using IEEE style, this is simply correct. If you're using any other numeric style, make sure there are no spaces between the references, then press the "…

Generally see https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/transferring_a_library Both options are safe, but the sync option is the most reliable: make sure that you can see you entire library here on the site (click on "Web Library") and that you don't see an…

Click on the version of Turabian you want to install here: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=Turab
-
That's developed by jupyter lab, you'll want to ask them -- I don't think anyone has ever even posted about this here.
-
Right, but to be clear, this can be done with Zotero
-
Yeah, what you describe would be a note based style using endnotes. Those are both sequentyand linked
-
Definitely works in general. have you tried with a different browser? And do you see any error message at all or does nothing happen? Is this your personal computer/network of a company/institutional one?
-
@ulahcherubim -- the Millî Kütüphane catalog (https://kasif.mkutup.gov.tr/Default.aspx ) is now better supported using both the Turkish and English interface. This is when using the "Save to Zotero" button in the browser; it won't help with Add by I…

I think I agree, especially with the increasingly common article numbers mapped to page. We should rewrite the access macro to only print the DOI where there's no volume.

PR here: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/70322/ive-notice-that-zotero-has-a-problem-with-polish-letter-l-k#latest no idea why we didn't fix this 6 years ago when it first came up.
-
@DWL-SDCA -- sorry, but this just all isn't relevant here, better not to speculate when you haven't looked at the technical details yourself (or if you're speculating, be transparent about that). This has nothing to do with character encoding. Zote…

That's a question for Mendeley. Zotero exports to a wide range of metadata formats. Mendeley Desktop also used to be able to read the Zotero database directly, but I think they got rid of that along with many other features...
-
Yeah, that sounds right. (edit: though do a quick cross check -- say for references 1, 15, and 30 -- that the numbers correspond to the right item.
-
Duplicates would just show as different numbers; this is something else. Can you just (in a copy of the document) delete the entire bibliography and then re-add it? Also, the list of figures heading in there is odd -- almost looks like you added …
-
Off the top of my head: Because it's less accurate, can produce invalid citekeys and potentially other invalid things, doesn't have proper linebreaks so is harder to read (and fix if needed). Citation styles just aren't set up to handle the full com…

New threads are fine (though please use more helpful titles) and https://www.zotero.org/support/forum_guidelines#don_t_create_redundant_threads

Why are there two different lists of styles, a fixed one for quick copy and an extendable one to create bibliographies? And, for example, why is BibTeX included in one by default but not in the other one? First this isn't quite right: quick copy inc…

We currently don't have a way to get metadata for DOIs registered through ISTIC/China DOI (http://dx.chinadoi.cn/) if someone is aware of an open API, we'd be happy to add support
-
Pretty sure that's one of Word's drafting modes, nothing to do with Zotero, so you should be able to google a Word solution to this.
-
The style obviously doesn't do that, so that's a question for Mendeley support (I realize they may have sent you here -- unfortunately their support doesn't understand the tech very well...)
-
Where exactly do you have that search? That's not a Zotero search string -- Zotero will let you store things in the title field that are longer than what it syncs: I believe that's on purpose, but quite rare to happen with regular use.
-
Image captions in Word don't support Fields, which Zotero uses for citations -- not much you can do about that, sorry (though you can paste a citation not connected to Zotero into the caption, of course).
