Bloggs, Joe In two fields -- you'd see the comma when the name is displayed, but wouldn't enter it
-
I think that was 'right' as in 'correct' but yes, it's family name first ('left' if you want), then givenname next to it, as indicated by the labels.

You can download ( = make available offline/locally) all those files and then transfer them to a different location, outside of GDrive and set that as the Zotero data folder (see https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data ). Under no circumstances …

We don't have a dedicated translator, but it should import PDF files and does for me. This is Zotero 7? Chrome or what browser?
-
_our_ (i.e. the CSL/Zotero) IEEE style, now available on zotero.org/styles
-
That's the second link in dstillman's post -- any questions about that, please be as specific as possible.
-
This is generally planned. You can use https://rintze.zelle.me/ref-extractor/ with Select in Zotero for the functionality, though it's obviously not as smooth as an built-in document collection or so.
-
Have you tried just deleting the bibliography and re-inserting it? (there have been a couple of reports of this, though none I'm aware of in the last couple of months, so you can also search if someone else with this the same issue found a solution)
-
I don't think that's possible given the way the year disambiguation is coded, sorry.

Nur Standard http und https von der Zotero app. Ich vermute das Problem ist aber https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/ssl_certificate_error

Pull request https://github.com/zotero/translators/pull/3336 (WaPo has a somewhat bizarre range of different page formats, so let us know if you find additional unsupported ones once the fix is merged (you should see the newspaper icon and see Save …

In general this works just fine, including with that style. Which version of Zotero, which word processor and version, does this work in a new document?
-
The full note Chicago style lists translators in the first note. The note style lists only basic information and the rest in the bibliography. I can see that it might be ideal to include the translator in short citations when working with multiple …

Fix proposed here: https://github.com/zotero/translators/pull/3335

Footnote formatting (like indents, font size, spacing, etc.) is handled by your word processor, not Zotero. The use of just the author name for _immediately_ subsequent (i.e., formerly 'ibid.') citations was introduced in the 17th edition of the Ch…

As you drag items between collections they are always present in both/all collections, so not much you need to do there. And yes, you can export the content of individual collections (right-click on the collection --> Export). As for the "New L…

The style should (and generally does) add initials to those automatically, as the Manual prescribes. The italics are odd and shouldn't be there. Which word processor is this? What happens in a new document where you cite just those two items?

Sorry, I answered the previous question on whether there are plans to create an official flatpack. That repo is the place to ask/file an issue, yes.

Pero NLM/Vancouver pone 6 autores antes de et al. Para 3, usa por ejemplo AMA: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:american-medical-association&dependent=0

@dstillman -- I don't have a 6.0 version to check and this looks like citations generated with the "Include URL" checkbox checked, but as per above it's not. Any chance of a bug in the 6.0 release, maybe when using non-English locales or so (I tried…

The Pages field is on the right -- where it says VM/OJS/J/96679 in your screenshot

FWIW, this is what I get with Vancouver for that reference: Rosendahl J, Alldredge CT, Haddenhorst A. Meta-analytic evidence on the efficacy of hypnosis for mental and somatic health issues: a 20-year perspective. Front Psychol. 2024 Jan 8;14:133023…

Which Zotero version and what's in the "Pages" field of that item?
-
Pretty sure there aren't, no.

cual estilo de cita?

The Flatpack package is released by a third party. You'd need to contact the maintainers (or use the supported Linux install options)

This is very rarely done but possible. The basic idea is that you need to 1. Set et al rules to et-al-min="2" and et-al-use-first="1" and 2. Set the et al (or and others) term to an empty string in the custom locale of the style. This one is proba…

ah thanks for checking. We're already using eutils for all pubmed import, so adding the ORCIDs from there would be just as trivial as for CrossRef and DataCite
