thanks for the reply, I tried your work-around, but I get a message that Zotero can insert bibliographies only in the main text, so I guess I'm stuck again with my old strategy.

@ g.s.: maybe I should have also said that I'm accessing BSB only externally. I have contacted BSB and they seem quite open to adapting to Zotero. But maybe other BSB-users can contact them as well to show them that there is a demand.
