The only way to do this is from a SQLite editor (if you try this, backup your data). Have you used the Advanced search to look for extra fields that contain "Access:"? Have you emptied your trash?

Please don't double post: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/12992/a-way-to-delete-all-info-from-all-extra-fields

Well, in a few words is it reliable, getting one part from one place and another part from second?Yes, this is supported. It is not possible to get your metadata database over any other sync method at this time. Dropbox is not supported. Network …

http://www.zotero.org/support/sync WebDAV is only for your file attachments, not for the data stored in your zotero database.

I would very much like zotero to output the howpublished field using the \url commandPlease see the discussion, above. There are bibtex styles that do not use url in the howpublished field & other popular reference managers (e.g. JabRef), data…

There is already a ticket on this.

I don't know how pervasive this issue is. It shouldn't be pervasive for refbase: unAPI+MODS is enabled by default & has a greater priority than COinS. But it might be present elsewhere, and I'd say the patch is a simple case of Postel's robust…

noksagt's example of mendeley's feature of going open source is unfair. It is very obvious why they do not adress it, and noksagt just play's the obvious "bad commercial mendeley" card here.So why'd it take them a year to comment in that thread, was…

I'm skeptical, but would be happy to be proven wrong. Before we throw yet-another-tech (that happens to be used by a few other projects that have larger development teams), we should answer these questions: What are the top communication issues th…

Got it. Sorry for the misdirection. Actually, you were right & I was wrong. Patch submitted.

So the import is wrong. But that means it will not be eported correctly.Correct export means to export the data as close to the way it is stored in the Zotero database as possible. If you have garbage stored in the database, the correct export shou…

Each attachment that is a stored copy is assigned an individual directory. You cannot have multiple stored copies in a single directory hierarchy unless you perform work-arounds similar to the ones that you describe (also, e.g. making a webpage &am…

There is no Cochrane translator. That URL uses the DOI translator. The only DOI on the page is 10.1002/14651858.CD002966.pub3. CrossRef does not type this as a journal article: http://www.crossref.org/openurl/?url_ver=Z39.88-2004&req_dat=usr:…

Scot is correct: export is handled fine. As I responded in the other thread, the issue is only on import & has nothing to do with the tilde, but with the characters that are accented not having braces.
-
This issue has been raised before. Zotero's reversemappingTable may translate some characters out of order. Patch submitted.

Tags are exported to the 'keywords' field in BibTeX files. Perhaps you could talk to the Bibdesk developers about importing that field. 'keywords' isn't 'standard' BibTeX & some applications may use a different name for this field. I don't kn…

There's a ticket for this: https://www.zotero.org/trac/ticket/1343 Also see this thread: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/2527/would-very-much-like-innovative-encore-interface/

Not all google scholar results contain that information. There is presently no way for Zotero to automatically fill in missing information. If you believe the information is present and that Zotero is failing to capture it, please give a URL.
-
What, precisely, is the issue you're having? Are you able to successfully export a valid RIS file from Zotero that you are then unable to import into reference manager? If so, you may wish to use reference manager's support to answer this question.
-
WebDAV is presently only an option for file syncing for your personal library. If you want group attachments to sync, you must use Zotero storage for that.

XML Parsing Error: not well-formed Location: file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/erin/My%20Documents/chicagowithabstract.csl Line Number 92, Column 101: So fix that line. It should be 'delimiter-precedes-last', but you have a utf-8 character that…

Your old data would presumably have been at one of the paths for 2000/XP/Vista. Locate it from your backup using that path information and/or search your desktop for zotero.sqlite (assuming that you haven't already re-installed zotero; if you have,…

This isn't really a Zotero-specific question & you aren't being precise enough. If you upgraded Windows & kept your other documents and settings, then you likely have the Zotero data still (with your old Firefox profile by default, as per t…

Refer to: http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data Did you sync with zotero's servers?

There's nothing to solve: the zotero client already allows you to sort/search tags for your personal libraries and the libraries of groups you are a member of. It appears that CFFrost was downloading references manually from the online library for …

This is one of the many cases where Zotero developers have been less than prompt in integrating patches.I wouldn't overstate this. The patch in question is fairly simple, but implements multiple changes. Two of these changes are contentious (using…

Is there any 'guided' way to create your own 'item' template? No.

What do you mean by "group account?" You can create a Zotero group that you can invite particular people to, but you'd have no reason to log out of your personal account (as you should be a member of that group).
