Those seem to have the same height (point-size) to me. The spacing and kerning are different, but that is because they are fully justified.

The table at http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/server_api lists the commands (more-or-less). The only difference is that this is for a group instead of a user. The API differs a bit from what is now documented due to recent changes & there's …

Yeah, this works for items typed as GEN. The DOI error is also fixed, though I don't know why we look for those three terms anywhere in a line (rather than at the beginning of a line).
-
Presumably because it still has the line item.itemType = "journalArticle";?
-
EBSCO does type (at least many) newspapers and magazines as journal articles. The books/mongraphs that I've found are all typed as GEN (which should import into Zotero as 'document'). It had sounded as if ln108's sources might be different. The g…

One immediate error I caught:"TypeError: text.match(/DO\s+\-\s*(.*)/) is null"Presumably because the export containsKW - OBERNDORF, Meyera E.. The regex should probably match from the beginning of a line.
-
Per the author guide, that journal needs submissions to use the ACS style. Please enumerate specific changes to that style you think are required.

Aside: I don't know about anyone else, but I'm struck that the groups feature has not been as successful as I'd expected.I don't know if I agree, but then I'm a skeptic. Groups have generally not be overwheming on any literature service. Are they …

that's the data coming from EBSCO - if you're curious you can use EBSCO's export function and look at the downloaded .RIS file and you'll find TY - JOURNot always. I searched for 'Smith' & enabled only books/monographs to match. The first list…

It is discussed a bit at: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/7327/feature-request-stand-alone-zotero/ https://groups.google.com/group/zotero-dev/browse_frm/thread/c3eb5fdcebced647# The last time I made it, I used svn-r6187 of zotero and xulrunner …

When Zotero captures this information it categorizes it as a journal article (which I think is incorrect)Zotero's doing the right thing: Scitation types this as a journal article in RIS and BibTeX export. Indeed, it appeared inside of a journal! Her…

Yes: it is known that the default apparmor configuration on Ubuntu causes you to be unable to use custom data directories (see: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/13841/custom-profile-doesnt-work-after-ubuntu-upgrade/ http://ubuntuforums.org/showth…

Why not replacewith(or just remove that if block completely if the only line you have there is because it should fail gracefully).
-
Unlikely. Feel free to put a minimum failing example (e.g. a single item) in a block here.
-
This is probably due to the character set of the BibTeX file. Can you copy the cb2bib output & import from the clipboard?
-
You indicated that you were new to this software in another thread. Do you realize that you can enable "automatically attach associated PDFs and other files when saving items" and click on the article icon in your addressbar that appears on that an…

The specific examples given are not really "rich text" in the way the kb entry descibes. Zotero supports UTF-8 text entry, which allows superscripts and subscripts, as well as greek characters. Copy/paste them or enter them manually; see also htt…

It sounds like you want a report: http://www.zotero.org/support/reports

@Frank: do the locale files need to be updated in 2.1? Presently, ordinals are defined as in english in locales-deDE.xml, for instance. Looks like things behave per OP for 2.0

I'm responsible for adding the ability to import the different styles of links & I'm on Linux. I had not encountered a windows-formatted file link as in your file or the specific error that you encountered (and you seem to be the first one in t…
-
Not necessarily. It would fill if all of the PDFs were synced, but it may start small & have room for you to add a few new ones. I think a previous request was made to be able to push newly obtained files to the server without having to pull o…

But note that this also means files won't be pushed to the server from the USB drive.

The BibTeX CSL is not really encouraged for use. You can set Zotero to quick copy in the export formats, such as BibTeX. Then You can drag/drop references or Ctrl-Alt-C to copy them.

http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/6276/support-for-masters-thesis-type-and-full-bibtex-format/ For (1), we MAY be able to enter the type of thesis on import (into the type field). For (2): ALL theses are currently exported as @phdthesis & you…

Why not list this as a newspaper type? But, in any case: http://gsl-nagoya-u.net/http/pub/csl-fields/webpage.html

Looks to be the same as elsevier-harvard.csl, though. Do you note any differences between that style and the style you are requesting?
