NVIVO doesn't follow the current RIS specification. They state it will be changed. Refer to them for support. https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/27348/

Please don't post in multiple threads.

Zotero can export to RIS, which Endnote Web should be able to import.
-
That ISBN works for me. Zotero uses WorldCat for ISBN import. So, check there first. If you have problems, a report ID would help.

Is 'editor' better? https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/edited_volumes_and_book_chapters

For 1-2, I export to BibTeX to a file. My text editor auto-completes citekeys. Many editors do. Alternatively, you can open the file in something like jabref. If I need to manage keys, I still use a third-party app. These work-arounds work well…

In the case of Web of Knowledge, there are extra spaces in their export file. It might be the case we can work around their bad export; I don't know. I don't have access to the second example, but you could check the export files for the same kind…

In would seem to be a perversion of the MARC format to embed PDFs & I don't think that is likely. They may link to them & allow for easier semi-automated downloading. What led you to this hypotehesis? So, it seems that they had to remove a…

I'll also note that EndNote's manual suggests keyboard entry through the language supported by the keyboard or copying/pasting from another program (such as the character map), so their level of technical support for this isn't much different than o…

BibTeX is able to process author names, so the correct solution is to rely on it to do it for you. The styles you link to are very old. The journal links to: http://journals.cambridge.org/data/relatedlink/jfm-ifc.zip If those don't do it for you, …

Plugins are not supported in Word Starter: https://office.microsoft.com/en-us/starter-help/word-features-that-are-not-fully-supported-in-word-starter-HA010374498.aspx You could purchase a more complete copy of MS Office or use LibreOffice.

Not sure why the comma is there. I'd imagine removing it is fine, but note that it is valid BibTeX & biber should work whether it is there or not. Any warnings it emits should not impact functionality.

wonblee: 1) Your Post isn't related to the thread. 2)This already exists: https://www.zotero.org/support/preferences/general Use Zotero for downloaded RIS/Refer files

Most COinS do not feature a URL inside the span. LibX & others will replace the entire span. As such, the span is usually empty (or effectively empty, with only a non-breaking space) OR has elements that will appear when no COinS tool processe…

Book sections and special issues might be a reasonable reason why a 'sort by page number' would be useful. I think arbitrary per-collection sorting has been discussed. I don't know if I agree that the related items should be sortable.

is Zotero exporting only the path to the pdf? Where i can choose this possibility? No action should be needed. If it doesn't work, you may need to reset your translators. If "export files" is not checked, you should get 'file=' keys that point to t…

There are multiple threads on this topic. One short one that provides info and links to some of the most often mentioned options is: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/1224/csv-or-other-simple-import-technique/

Zotero doesn't use BibTeX as a backend, but imports it into its own database. So, I'm not sure I see the downside of a little bit of cleanup before that happens....
-
There are various third party programs that can flatten crossref (such as bibcat) or can convert to another file format (I think bibutils does this) if this is something you only need to do a few times.

Zotero translators are stored as individual JavaScript files in the “translators” subdirectory of the Zotero data directory.

There are many UTF-8 entitites that we miss. Some are exceedingly difficult to transliterate to TeX entitites. That being said, I see no reason we shouldn't transliterate greek. spartan had implemented these in his patch. We just never separated…

If you choose an export character set other than UTF-8, these will already be transcribed to TeX entitities: {\r A} and {\'o}.

Which citation style? It is likely the style manual calls for the DOIs (such as APA). You will need to change to another style or modify the one you are using.

No, my example was a journal article. Here's the input data: @article{a_title_2012, title = {Title}, url = {http:www.google.com/}, journal = {Journal Title}, author = {A, Libor}, year = {2012}, pages = {2} }
-
The URL field will be added, depending on your style, your options, and the bibliographic information. For the ISO 690 numeric style (english), an article without page numbers will look like:1. A, Libor. Title. In: Journal Title [online]. 2012, Ava…

No, that's not possible & it sounds like it'd be a house of cards. It seems much better to fix the style where specific errors in it are specified.

Contrary to what you say, multi-level bracing is not only allowed in 'bibtex', but (sometimes) explicitly encouraged. See: ftp://ftp.tex.ac.uk/tex-archive/biblio/bibtex/contrib/doc/btxFAQ.pdf http://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/info/bibtex/tamethebea…
