Thanks for checking on this. Yes, that did fix the problem. But it introduced one error. Everything else looks the same as before. I've checked against a number of item types. The unintended change is now a missing comma after "(ed.)": Abdoulaye, …

(There's no feature exactly like this, but previous discussions of similar questions have suggested using colored tags.)

OK, great tip, thanks!

(Though note that the formatting for the first locator will be used for all of them [e.g., if you use “long” format for Volume, then volume and page will both be long. There are some quirks with citeproc-js that you can maybe work with depending on …

@bwiernik OK, thanks! The oddity here is that the formatting is a bit of a surprise (e.g., adding "p." in styles that just have a colon otherwise). Actually my original reason for asking was that I realized in these exceptional cases I wasn't sure h…

That makes sense about the IDs. Glad it's on the list to add in a future version. As for your larger question: you do need these as active citations? Just using citations or bibliographies created from Zotero collections or tags won't do? And this d…

OK, I understand, thanks for clarifying. (If you do have a better suggestion for a routine that will automatically copy a collection into separate cites in Word-- see the linked question above-- please let me know. I realize this isn't the intention…

OK, I'm following the steps here to convert from ODF to DOCX, but it's ending up as plain text. So close. Any ideas? https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/moving_documents_between_word_processors Hm. It finally worked. It looks like the steps in that d…

Almost working like this: 1. Install RTF/ODF-Scan: https://zotero-odf-scan.github.io/zotero-odf-scan/ (2. Manually fix Scannable Cite as explained here: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/57428/scannable-cite-not-showing-up-in-zotero-standalone) 3…

OK, if it's not possible to test for accessed date, then I'm not sure it's possible to precisely follow their guidelines. Let's just simplify it: Use the dot so that journal articles are correct, and in the much rarer event of citing a webpage (etc…

Oh, minor correction: to add the angle brackets back onto the DOI it should be: (Assuming we're using that variant of the code.)

(I know enough to poke around and make some changes for personal styles, but I'm not confident especially with changes this complicated so I really appreciate your help with this.) Actually, I think that was one step backward. There must be a disti…

Sorry about that. I just wanted to find time to sit down and study this to make sure all the details were right. But I'll reply faster if that helps you, didn't realize it was harder for you! -- Almost: Bobaljik, Jonathan D. & Wurmbrand, Susi.…

Did you use Zotero to create the footnotes? Or are you asking if Zotero can automatically replace them with new, automatic footnotes?

Thank you very much for this. Almost identical to the style guide now. One change away! Continuing the numbering above: 3. This is fixed. The final dot appears correctly in all entries (except where it should be avoided). 3b. This is NOT fixed. The…

You need an internet connection to sync. (Otherwise you would need to manually transfer your library between the two computers every time!) However, yes, you can access already-inserted references within a Word document, and you can reuse this. The…

Question: if that final comma alternation is hard to implement (I agree it's odd in the style), could the style just be saved to the repository as-is, and then the publisher can make the minimal changes if needed in the edge cases?
-
You can. What is the exact problem you are experiencing? Use the Thesis type, and then add the year to the Date field, just like any other item type. (Note that no items have a dedicated "Year" field. Just use Date.)
-
OK, thanks. I meant to add that this is a new problem for me since the update, but if it's already fixed in the beta and upcoming version then that should be fine!
-
(I don't have BBT, so that couldn't be the cause for me, but maybe it's interacting with the same issue within Zotero. It does seem to reset itself periodically.)

Right click on the collection name and choose "Export", then use the CSV format. That can then be imported into Excel.
-
Export the whole column (all entries) as a list of years? One way would be to export your library as a CSV, then copy only that column in Excel or similar software. (Then you could run statistical analysis, like looking at how many items are cited …

What happens if you delete (only!) the bibliography field and then insert a new one instead? That might reset things.

OK, everything above is fixed, but two small problems were introduced: 3. Now the final dot is missing from all entries, unless it ends in an accessed date. So it works for the Liberman 2006 webpage cited above, but not for books, articles, etc. Th…

Great, thanks. 3. There should be a comma before (as well as after) the issued date in blogs. (The format is Title, DD Month YYYY,

(Is this a feature or a bug? Isn't it somewhat helpful in case you accidentally deleted something, or if you are looking at the deleted item to still see which others it is related to? On the other hand, I can see this being annoying if you're the s…

Thank you! Very close. 3. There should be a suffix dot after the access date, but not when the citation ends immediately with the URL plus angle bracket. Is this somewhat inconsistent behavior in the stylesheet possible to encode with Zotero? Basic…

The following minor changes are required for John Benjamins Publishing Company - Linguistik Aktuell/Linguistics Today 1. Non-dropping particles van, den, etc. should be inverted with the last name, and also used for alphabetizing. That is, van Keme…

Thank you! (Edit: I made a mistake in checking this. Looking it over again. Removed my original reply because it was inaccurate.)

(Bump. Or should I start a new thread requesting the new/different style?)
