If the problem is BBT-related, please report on the BBT issue tracker. I don't come here frequently enough to do support here.
-
You'll need to manually re-install the newest BBT.

I've had a second monitor for years, but I preferred the in-browser version, hands-down. In zotero 4 I would tests against and use the in-browser version exclusively. It's only with zotero 5 that I started using the standalone client. And zotero was…

Zotero cannot make arrangements to make the in-browser pane system work in Chrome or Explorer -- Zotero was forced out of Firefox because Firefox adopted the Chrome extensions model.
-
I don't see this happening. I don't like the choices that Mozilla made here, but a) I think they're understandable, and b) they're committed to them for reasons unrelated to having programs like Zotero running in FF. Mozilla re-instating XUL/XPCOM …

If the PPA downloads the binary (I think it does), this script can automatically download the latest version (or a specified version) and install it.
-
Man applescript is one funky language. It makes me think of a mix of COBOL and INTERCAL.
-
That will be .46 then on account of an oversight on my part.
-
(the "Show in my library button is part of the Zotero picker, which I call but do not otherwise touch, so yes, that still works)
-
formatted-citation and formatted-bibliography have been added to BBTs CAYW. It stretches the scope a bit because it really doesn't have anything to do with BBTs citekeys, but it was easy to add.
-
It is important to note that the BBT auto-exporter only supports its own translators.
-
I don't think a proper solution is in the cards. Citekey search will have to wait until it gets integrated into Zotero. For the time being, citekey search has been removed from BBT.
-
It should be possible to leave the picked references highlighted; I think Zotero has a mechanism for that. I can't tell whether the picker searches for attachments; I have no idea what it does really, I just pop it up, and grab the results when it c…

(why would someone want a formatted citation rather than a scannable-cite citation?)
-
Possible, yes, please open a github issue and I'll look into it. On that page you linked to I see {Kaplan:8RPYwYR+}, what does that do?
-
And BBT no longer supports the Z4 version. BBT for Z5 is out and is the supported version now.
-
What is a papers citation?
-
I've disabled citekey search in BBT until I can find a proper solution.

Overleaf had an api planned that would make it possible to push bbt-bibtex straight to them. I'm waiting for it myself.
-
The citekey doesn't exist in Zotero until it is exported, so in the current version, it cannot (sensibly) be displayed. The 5.1+ versions of Zotero ae reported to include native citekey support, so the answer for that version is likely "enable the c…

a "language" field could be added using BBTs cheater syntax.
-
@Rintze that is correct; I forgot to update the Installation page, that's now corrected.
-
@adamsmith I'd treat them as equivalent. In principle there could be minute kerning differences. You definitely don't want to do quote-brace. See here for some of the horror of doing the requisite case protection.
-
@jm.gimenez.garcia it is possible to set up Overleaf to use BBT but it's supremely clunky to get started. You'd use a combination of Overleaf's git support, BBTs auto-export, and Sparkleshare to auto-upload the exported bib file to Overleaf.

It appears this is now fixed; this means it's likely related to https://groups.google.com/forum/m/#!topic/zotero-dev/yGP4uJQCrMc . What seemed to work was just a tiny delay using settimeout, which would indicate a race condition of sorts.
-
Framing that for proof. Many people do not believe a possible universe exists where that is plausibly true.
-
(although it's not just Zotero fishing from this pool of course... but still...)
-
Much higher in fact: https://health.howstuffworks.com/diseases-conditions/death-dying/odds-of-death.htm would put lightning+meteorite at 0.000000014% lifetime chance (although https://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2004/06/0623_040623_lightningfac…

Ah hold on, it seems to be strictly "zotero.org" that is experiencing the error. "www.zotero.org" is up.
