@Linda2901 Yes, if you could convince your professors with the library's help to just use the actual APA standard rather than an adaptation, that would be great.
-
If they want to take this that would be great otherwise I will probably get it this week.

See here for the information needed for a style request https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/wiki/Requesting-Styles

What’s the name of the group?

Word cannot put multiple footnotes on the same line like that. It’s just not possible. Either insert multiple footnotes or combine all three references into one footnote.
-
If you mean the citation key is not showing at the top of the item info pane, install BetterBibTeX—that’s a feature of the plugin, not Zotero itself.
-
Do you mean just for your purposes while writing/editing or in the final document for readers?
-
I suggest using colored tags for this. Add the tag, then right click on the tag in the tag selector on the left side of the Zotero window and choose Assign Color.
-
Like I said, I will make this style, but please have a little patience.
-
You can set the language in the Document Preferences window in the Zotero tab in Word. Use the no-ampersand version if you want “y” instead of “&”.
-
APA doesn’t use any of those words for volume, issue, etc at all.
-
Did you manually change the references? That is not the way to do this. Install the APA 6th edition style: https://zotero.org/styles/apa-6th-edition Or https://zotero.org/styles/apa-6th-edition-no-ampersand Then change to that style from Docume…

Do you have a link to your university’s style guidelines? That is quite different from standard APA style.
-
No, the “@“ part is the citation key. If it imported, you should see it in the Extra field in Zotero.
-
Happy to help you if you want to have a polite conversation, but your combative tone is quite demotivating. https://www.zotero.org/support/forum_guidelines#etiquette If you want to have a productive conversation, please start a new thread concisely…

@riw77 Please don’t spam multiple threads with the same comments. It’s really not as complicated as you make it out to be. You can easily create a combined PDF without printing to PDFs. Just select the Word documents And use Adobe’s combine PDFs f…

@riw77 Splitting the document works fine in most cases, and many users have found that approach useful over the years.

If you just want the words in German, you can set the bibliography language in the Document Preferences window in the Zotero tab in Word. If you need other changes, let me know. Your examples don’t include DOIs, but those are really important for …
-
If you have the BetterBibTeX plugin installed, it will pin the citation keys on import. If “Citation Key” appears in Extra, it’s pinned and preserved.

APA does not include the place of an event in citations to published conference proceedings. It simply cites them like a journal article or book chapter.
-
Oh, I see what you mean. That’s a bug in the style that should be fixed. I’ll try to take a look at it in the next few days.

PyZotero is a python interface to the Zotero.org Web API, which can be used to access Zotero account data and make changes. https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/web_api/v3/start

Can you point to an example in the style guide or a published article with this formatting for the translator. Does it really not include the label indicating the person is the translator?

CSL development is currently very active.
-
You’ll need to ask the developers of Papership (who unfortunately are not very responsive if at all).
-
For supervisor, you can enter them as a “Contributor”.
-
Yeah, for further help with zotpress, you should post to the zotpress forums
-
No, in CSL that’s not possible currently. It might be added in a future version of CSL. If you are doing legal citations, I recommend using Jurism (a version of Zotero with expanded legal citation tools) and CSL-M (an extension of CSL with extende…

That’s the cause. DOI is the first step in the duplicate detection.

Note though that that won’t save any vertical space — the footer will be just as tall as if they were all on separate Lines. This is a limitation in Word.
