Here is the example song on an album item from the APA 7 manual https://www.zotero.org/groups/2205533/test_items_library/collections/MR2N872S/items/3YQ96FHJ/item-details

I am not able to select text at all with my Surface Pen, whether with the highlight tool activated or not, and whether the “Let me use my pen as a mouse in some desktop apps” setting is checked or not.
-
Hopefully it will be finished this summer
-
It would be nice to have the barcode scanner in the iOS app

You can already change the abbreviation list that is used by Zotero (for all styles) by placing a file called 'abbreviations.json' formatted like this: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/citation-style-language/abbreviations/master/american-journal-o…
-
Yes, the formatting of the first locator is applied to all locators, and the delimiters typed in the locator text box are rendered as entered (I believe).
-
CSL 1.1 will Have formal support for multiple locators. For now, the same formatting needs to be applied consistently to multiple locators
-
You would need to add an additional ‘date’ element to the CSL style and include only the month and day date-parts. You can look at Chicago style for an example (which does this for magazines and newspapers).
-
The current CSL guidance is that single-field mode should always indicate an institution. In CSL 1.1, the “literal” field is slated to be renamed “institution” (https://github.com/citation-style-language/schema/blob/ef89f604107d13e36e791e4bdf25b3d74…

Is an APA family of style being used? It's possible that citeproc's uppercase subtitles processing (which involves some punctuation normalization) is coming in here
-
Sorry. I mistyped. See above for how to use span to indicate a non-English section of an English title
-
I would enter the acronym as the Author and the full name as the Publisher.
-
Standard English punctuation rules have spaces around en dash used in this position but no spaces around em dash. That’s correct typesetting, and it’s hard coded into the citation processor, so not easily modifiable if at all. I would suggest not wo…

Instead of all this, just drag the PDF file onto the Zotero window.
-
You might consider asking the WPS developers to build a Zotero plugin like Softmaker has. I know that several Chinese users have asked for that over the years. More requests might push them to do so.
-
When you place the cursor in a Zotero citation, there is a popup indicating it is a Zotero citation. Google Docs has much more limited display features compared to Word or LibreOffice. In the desktop word processors, it's possible to display field t…

Separate the names by a Tab character rather than just a space when copy-pasting. What is the situation where you are frequently hand-entering information rather than importing from the web, though?
-
LibreOffice or Google Drive is how most Linux users work with Zotero.
-
APA frequently breaks their site in an effort to try to stop unauthorized downloading. The volunteers who manage Zotero's site translators can look at this, but the last time it was broken, it took some time to fix. In the mean time, you can import …

You can edit the style to remove the ‘sort’ section from the bibliography section. I’m saying though that the style guide calls for alphabetical except when there is a reason to deviate. For most of the citations in your document, alphabetical is …
-
I’m not sure I understand. Can you describe exactly what you are trying to do? What do you mean “include the snapshot”?
-
The style guide calls for sources to be sorted alphabetically as a default. If you want to reorder them for a particular citation, such as your quoting case, you can drag the blue bubbles in the Zotero Add Citation window to rearrange.
-
Please feel free to submit a pull request to the CSL style repo with the updated style
-
But the needed changed is to add collapse="year" to the `citation` row in the style.
-
Are you actually at that institution, or is this for another university/faculty?
-
The CSL variable for the original title would be “Original title”. You can enter this is Extra as: Original title: L’Étranger If you like, you can include “Translated from” there. If the style is programmed to include original titles, this will g…
-
APA style also does not use access dates, so if the Citation Compass style doesn’t work for you, a custom style would be needed, so please give information about the publisher/university and a link to a style guide if available.
-
Ah, right.
-
I am used to Ctrl/Cmd+Tab (+shift for reverse) being the most typical tab keyboard shortcut (eg in web browsers)
-
APA 6th edition is not a footnote style. It is an in-text style. What exactly are you looking for?
