If that box is checked and the item data has a URL, they will definitely show up in APA style. Double check that you are using the correct style—American Psychological Association (7th edition)

As Dan said, storing your Zotero database in a cloud synced folder will 100% cause corruption and data loss eventually. You should move your database out of there right away.
-
Yes, you should only use the Number field for numbers that would appear in a citation. Personal ID labels should go in Extra.
-
Yes that workflow is very common.

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bwiernik/zotero-tools/master/apa-note.csl And https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bwiernik/zotero-tools/master/apa-fullnote.csl Is this for a specific publisher or journal?

The iPad app saves data in a format compatible with Zotero 6–for example, data related to PDF annotations. Jurism hasn’t been updated to use Zotero 6 and in all likelihood won’t be, as its developer Frank has retired and is no longer very actively w…

(This is one of the places where BibTeX’s habit of style-specific data entry makes a big mass.)

(S.W. Lee, 2018) and (H.H. Lee et al., 2015) is correct APA style for these two authors. You should leave it as shown
-
Note that if you are using APA style and you have multiple citations with the same first author and year, it is correct APA style to add additional author names to disambiguate the references. Many other styles also follow this rule, so it is likely…

Can you say what you mean explicitly? From what I can see, “Software” is exactly the correct type for such an item

Here is the recommended format for storing UpToDate items https://www.zotero.org/groups/2205533/test_items_library/collections/MR2N872S/search/Uptoda/titleCreatorYear/items/BFB24TSL/item-details or https://www.zotero.org/groups/2205533/test_items_li…

You should ignore that part of the APA manual. It’s inconsistent with every other example. Instead save the stable URL for a specific version of an article. That will always go to the version you read, so a retrieval date isn’t necessary.

1) you don’t need to reinstall 2) you should not store your Zotero database itself in Google drive or any other cloud folder. That will corrupt your database and cause data loss 3) where is are the linked files currently stored? On the c: or d: driv…

The DOI field will be added to all item types in a future version of Zotero

That’s the page number. It’s an electronic only journal, so it has “article numbers” for each article rather than a page range. But you can cite it just like a page. Technically, APA manual wants the word “Article” in front of these. That’s unique…

The main thing to avoid that we see is your coauthors opening a Word document in Google Docs without using the Change Word Processor function in the Document Settings window in the Zotero tab in Word. So long as everyone is using Word, you’ll be o…

You could sort by title and scan visually for the duplicates if it’s not too mangy items

https://constructivist.info/guidelines/template.docx https://www.fabricemetais.fr/aa/local/cache-zotspip/4LDBJYGK/Full Text PDF.pdf The style given in the author guidelines and used in PDFs for the journal aren’t particularly close to APA 7—there a…

It’s not currently possible to directly import group libraries. To import items in group libraries, copy the group items to a collection in your Mendeley library before importing. You can then create a Zotero group and drag imported collections or i…

‘document’ is a newer item type that didn’t exist the last time I meaningfully edited APA 6 styles. Do you really need to use APA 6? APA 7 has been out for 3 years and all of the major publishers have started to use it. I strongly recommend just usi…

The correct item type is Report. The URL goes in the URL field. The style is just out of date with the guidelines. @damnation Looks like URL should be included for everything but journal articles, books, chapters, encyclopedia entries, dictionary…

Personally, I would recommend just citing this as two items. That will be easier for readers to understand. It is not currently possible to cite a collapsed item like this in CSL
-
If you force Zotero to use the discrete GPU, does that fix it?
-
Using the language field in this way is a feature of the CSL-m extension to CSL, not standard CSL. I don’t know that we have anyone here who’s used those features to any real degree. You might post to the Jurism mailing list and see if someone can h…

The field you should store that sort of information in is the Rights field. Personally, in my experience you can usually omit it and just cite the original source for reprinted displayed and state that it’s reprinted with permission

Install the Zutilo plugin in Zotero and it adds a Copy Zotero Select Link option to the right click menu. You can save that in your other database.

JSON’s lack of human readability is a big barrier for many folks I’ve spoken to trying to move away from .bib in Markdown, so YAML would be a big benefit there We could even label the two “CSL data format” and “CSL Markdown format” if we wanted to
-
From the perspective of APA manual, if the URL goes to the full text contents or somewhere the reader can access that, then it _should_ be included in the bibliography. It is correct APA to include a DOI or URL, even if the print version of a docume…

This isn’t possible currently in CSL. Is that something required by a journal or style manual?
-
This is very unlikely to be implemented by Zotero itself, but could potentially be implemented as a plugin made by a user. Note that the claims made by Bionic Reading developers are scientifically very dubious and contradict well-established finding…
