Oh my bad, my browser had cached my institutional access even though my VPN was off, didn’t notice that. Sorry for that!
-
Okay. Odd that it’s the only app I use that crashes in full-screen mode though. I’ll update this thread accordingly, thanks.
-
Avoided full-screen mode since the last two days ; no crash so far. You think it could be related? Is there some way I could help investigate this? With the new PDF reader I guess full screen mode might get more usage than it’s currently the case.
-
Very well, thanks for the reply!

Zotero was in full-screen mode when the last bug happened. I often use it. Shouldn’t others experience this bug as well? I’ve seen no other reports. Maybe it’s the two plugins I’ve mentioned? Do you see anything related to those in the log?

Oh another crash. For what it’s worth — no idea if that’s reproducible or not — I was adding the following paper through Safari’s Connector add-on: https://www.pnas.org/content/101/36/13168.short I’m running MacOS Big Sur 11.6 (20G165), and Zotero…

I updated to 11.6 right after posting this actually and, dunno if it’s a coincidence, but no crashes since then. I’ll report back if it crashes again! Many thanks!
-
I’m running Big Sur 11.5.2. However this made me think ; I recently added two add-ons: - scite Plugin for Zotero - Zotero Citation Counts Manager Any way to know if this could be related (except of course disabling them and waiting)? Crashes have…

Awesome, opened an issue there! Thanks!

Oh wow, looks like I haven’t done my research adequately then. Thanks for the answer! At least one of those is accessible to my dvorak-like keyboard so I’ll be able to remap them. Thank you, much appreciated!
-
@damnation thanks for the suggestions! I’m not really familiar with the syntax so will have to do some reading (if you have snippets ready I’d take them!) but otherwise will try thI ose in the following days when I have a minute. @adamsmith you’re …

Hi, I have the three following items, for instance, that get exported (bibliography style) as: [Low Levels of Sulphur Dioxide Contamination of Phosphine Spectra from Venus’ Atmosphere] -- Greaves et al. -- *arXiv:2108.08393 [astro-ph]* [Starting L…

Oh that’s what I suspected (never used Zotero without it). Alright I’ll wait for the official release to request it from the BBT devs ! Thanks for the reply!
-
Yeah at least the pencil works for highlighting stuff, but I agree it would be great to be able to write/draw with it too!
-
Right, thanks for the answer!
-
Thanks!

Additional info: spacing is correctly shown for some (other) files. Can’t see exactly what’s the difference between the files. e.g.: https://ibb.co/wCM0sXx

Right, thanks!
-
Ohhh got it! Thanks for the explanation.

Reading your first paragraph I’m not sure I understand ; seems to be contradictory with the presence of an option to "rename files according to metadata". Anyway, doesn’t really matter. It’s a small detail and I understand the distinction between a…
-
However, right-clicking on the file, then "Rename file from parent metadata" also modifies the name (in Zotero’s interface). Isn’t the behavior inconsistent with the automatic renaming? Not really a big problem since the file is actually renamed (I …

Wonderful! Thanks for the reply!
-
You’re right, maybe my base assumption (Zotero being the culprit) is wrong ; maybe I’ve been mislead by the pop up showing Zotero not responding. But I didn’t have a lot of apps opened, my MBP has 16GB of RAM, and I can’t recall one single occurrenc…

Awesome, thanks a lot! :-)

Agree about the report type. Thanks for creating the ticket!
-
Addendum: importing the PDF itself (instead of the web page presenting the article) imports a "report" type entry. This is inconsistent with imports from arXiv/bioarXiv which import "journal article" entries.
