It would really help if you followed the troubleshooting instructions - the reason they have their own page is that they solve most problems. If you tried them we need to know what exactly you did and what happened.
And it's unlikely that office starter would impact Zotero.

Add-ins (and thus zotero) don't work with Words starter:
