Hi there,

I'm getting Uploaded data not well-formed (Report ID: 4a7d4397c2). The syncing stopped working after creating a new group, then renaming some items, and starting a sync. I've done a full rebook and restarted Firefox a number of times.

    Every now and then we see some weird errors like this in the uploaded data, due, as far as we know, to Firefox bugs. Edit some items in your library, restart Firefox, and try again.

    I'm now in the middle of a full restore from server, which seems to be working thus far.

    Oops. Spoke too soon. Full restore deleted all of my data. My bad, I think, as I first tried to do a full restore using local data, which gave me the same error reported above. I assume that I wiped out the server data and then restored it from blank. I have a week-old backup, so it's not an emergency; but thought that I would document my idiocy for posterity.

    In the future, try to do precisely what Dan says: "Edit some items in your library, restart Firefox, and try again." That's all it should take. Don't touch the reset options unless Dan specifically tells you to.

    Ah... but I did try that, many times and in different ways.
